Perfect everyday dress
I have rented this in both a 2 and 4 and both fit me well. This is a great wear-for-anything weekend dress!

I am anywhere between a 2 (in some tops) and 6 at J. Crew. I rented this first in a 4 and it was too large - wearable, but baggy, especially in the chest area (I have a small chest). The 2 was perfect.

Cute dress
This was a cute dress, but I needed to size down. I normally wear a small or 4-6 and have a small chest. This gaped open in the back and under my arms, but I threw a denim jacket over it and made it work.

Cut is off
There was nothing particularly wrong with this dress, but it was a miss for me. It is well made and the size 4 was a perfect fit for me. The cut of the dress seemed very matronly to me (and I would generally describe myself as a pretty conservative dresser).
