I rented this dress to wear as one of four outfits for my engagement photo session in Chicago. I chose this particular dress to wear for our city shots along the Chicago River-walk and Skyline. The dress is absolutely perfect, the length, the quality of the lace, and the fit. Did I mention it also has pockets! (Party! Bonus!) The dress was more low cut than I anticipated, but not inppropriately low. In my opinion, you can do no wrong in Monique Lhuillier, her work is absolutely amazing. This was my favorite dress to wear during my engagement photos.

I rented this dress as one of four looks for my engagement photo shoot. For our Chicago skyline shots, I was envisioning white, form fitting, yet elegant, but still a touch of sexy; and this dress nailed it. It's not a solid white, it is textured and stretchy and would fit most body types. The back has a cute cut-out as well. The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is that the bust darts are slightly pointed. Not like Madonna or anything, but I was a bit self conscious; however, I had nothing to worry about as you cannot notice in the photographs. Who ever said you can't wear white before Memorial Day, obviously hasn't seen this dress!

I'm not typically one to wear lipstick, and this was the perfect pick me up for a dress I rented for a party. It's sheer enough, yet still has pigment, but nothing dramatic.

This dress is the perfect combination of cute meets classy. I wore it for a work Holiday Party and received many compliments. (I'm 5ft4 and the length fell just above the knee)

I typically wear size zero, but saw a few reviews that said the dress ran small. While I would have preferred to order zero and two, only sizes zero and four were available. Luckily (lucky southern charm?) the zero fit perfectly and I loved that it had a built in bra. For this particular dress, unfortunately I noticed the tinsel was a little unraveled on the side and on the inside part of the boning was poking through. I contacted RTR right away and received a prompt response of what my options were and I decided to still wear the zero, as the four was big on me. This dress is absolutely perfect for an outdoor summer wedding. The pattern is beautiful and the dress stands out from all of the sundresses. I paired the dress with nude strappy heels and gold jewelry. I received numerous comments on the dress from wedding guests and even event staff- everyone wanted to know where I got it, or who made it. I love sharing RTR with everyone, the usual response is shock when I describe the brilliance of RTR. RTR is especially perfect for me as I am an Event Planner and with numerous events every week- it's my best kept not-so-secret!

Unfortunately I have to give this dress one star. When it arrived, it was not at all what I was expecting, in fact, I thought to myself, "what what I thinking?" It's not an ugly dress by any means; however, it didn't fit right, the waist not where my waist was and it was tight in the top area. I'm not at all large chested, but knew it'd be tight to breath in this dress if I wore it. The contrasting color is a lot darker brown in real life than it shows in the picture. Luckily, I spent the extra $25 for a second option and was thrilled with my 2nd choice. You can't win em' all, so I recommend spending the extra money for a 2nd option, it's definitely worth it.

Here's the scoop; I had two events, my birthday and a formal cocktail party, both of which I needed dresses for. This dress I planned to wear to the cocktail party; however, I received a phone call from RTR (How nice! Who calls anymore??) 2 days before my dresses were to arrive. They apologized and said this dress was unavailable; however, I could pick whatever dress I wanted and they would overnight it to me! So even though I didn't get to wear this dress, which I'm sure would have been great, I got to make a second selection and chose another fabulous dress for the cocktail party. While my wow moment might wasn't actually getting to wear this dress, RTR's customer services really wowed me. They handled the situation professionally and ensured my satisfaction.

I am petite; however, a bit curvy, so after reading some of the reviews that this dress ran small, I was very nervous ordering only the size 38 (smallest) because the backup size 40 was not available for the date I needed it. I was pleasantly surprised when the dress came, it fit perfectly, yet wasn't too tight and I could still indulge in the wedding dinner, cake and cocktails. Of course you don't want to ever upstage the bride, but why not make a statement and set yourself apart? This dress is your golden ticket; it's yellow rose color pops, yet is still classy and not flashy or obnoxiously loud. I paired the dress with turquoise jewelry and clutch and it really worked well together. I received sooo compliments all night, even my bf said other guys complimented on it to him; quite flattering and humbling! Nothing mellow about this yellow, you'll turn heads!

For my boyfriend's office Holiday party I originally ordered the Shoshanna Erin Bow Sheath dress; however, a few days before delivery RTR contacted me to let me know it was no longer available and sent this dress as a replacement. I thought the dress was really cute, but because of the mod flower print, it wasn't suitable for a formal office Holiday party. I think this dress would be perfect for a wedding!
