Flattering cut!
The cut is super flattering on the shoulders. Lots of compliments both times I wore it. Good length for someone not too tall. Would definitely rent again!

Cutouts and color draw attention
Love Elizabeth and James dresses. As with all of them, this runs a bit small. I am normally a 2 or 4, and always order a 6 in E&J dresses. Next time I would order this in a 8 - the cutouts make it feel a little like you could be being squeezed out the openings a bit. Great color, cute dress - received compliments all night!

Cutouts make it more important to size up
As with anything Elizabeth & James, it runs on the smaller side. Because of the cutouts, I would say it is even worth going up two sizes to avoid looking like you are squishing out of the openings. I am normally a 2 or 4, always order 6 in E&J, and would order an 8 in this dress the next time. Also, because it is white, you definitely need pasties or something underneath. It fits well enough that you don't necessarily need a bra, but something to cover up would be advised.

This dress was just a little weird all the way around. Fitted up top, but with a bit of a short waist; then loose on the bottom. It made me feel a little "grandma-ish." Did not wear - lots of more flattering choices out there.

From the front, this top is nice but seems very simple. Then, you turn around and the compliments don't stop. The surprise factor has people talking about how pretty it is all night! Super sexy but in a subtle way. Hangs very nicely. Will definitely rent again!

Great skirt for a party!
I think this skirt runs true to size, although other reviewers have said it runs small. It was a little dressier than I was expecting, as the fabric is a quilted satin. Very flattering, definitely on the shorter side so just be aware.

This jacket is cute, but runs HUGE! I was swimming in the small, but will reorder an XS because it was really a cute jacket! Update: got the XS, and while it fit much better, it is just a boxy cut all around. It's cute, but there are probably cuter things that are more flattering...

Great color and super easy to wear!
The color drew attention all night and I got tons of compliments! This dress is easy to wear and comfortable all night. Be aware that it is very flowy and there is a lot of material, but the neck/shoulder line is very flattering. Also, when I first put it on, I thought it was huge, but then I found the hook/eye clasp in the back and that solved that issue. Would definitely rent again. Nude colored wedges were perfect.

Very cute dress but it runs TINY! I am normally a 4, and know to size up in E&J. I own and have rented several E&J dresses in a 6 that fit perfectly. Not this one! I had to return without wearing because it was so small. Would rent again and would go up two sizes to a 10.

Cute dress for spring/summer
Cute dress, flattering. I had to get the 6 because the 4 was unavailable, but the 4 would have been better. Nice heavy material holds everything together. Cant really wear a traditional bra with it.

This dress is a classic silhouette with a fresh color. I would say it runs a little on the big side - I am normally a 4 and the 2 still even had a little room in it. Would rent again

Head turner!
Loved this dress, the red is rich shade and the dress is quite flattering. This is the only Elizabeth and James dress I have ever worn that I would say you can actually get away with your true size instead of having to size like with all the others in this brand. At 5'4" it needed 3" heels or hem tape with the regular length. This dress turns heads if that is what you are going for!

This dress was fun and cute for Easter brunch with family and friends. Fit true to size, although depending on what you plan to wear it for, it is a little on the shorter side. I loved the length, but on someone taller (I am only 5'4") it may be too short.

Perfect for a girls' weekend in Seattle!
This was great with jeans and boots for a rainy, silly girls weekend in Seattle. It was fun and different, and everyone loved it. It was also really soft and really warm - I didn't want to take it off! Definitely looser fitting, but fit as I expected it to.

I read other reviews saying this dress runs small, but I actually found it to run large. It was too big everywhere - bust, hips, all over. I would say stick with your true size or even go down one. Would have been cute if it had fit.

As with all E&J dresses, it runs small so size up. This dress was cute and very flattering, but just a little on the boring side. If you are looking for a simple dress, it does the trick, it just isn't very exciting.

Tons of compliments!
Wore this dress to the Grammys and got compliments all day long and from everyone who saw the pictures after! Pockets were a great touch and the dress was comfy for a 12-hour day. Strapless bra did not really work because it went a little too low in the back - used a stick on cup bra instead and that was perfect. I'm 5'4" and even with 3" heels it was a little long - just a little fashion tape on the bottom and was good to go. Would recommend this dress for sure!
