Perfect for a ranch getaway
Runs super huge, exchanged for a smaller size and it was still quite roomy but so adorable. Shoulders are oversized, as an FYI for the more broad-shouldered amongst us, but wasn't terribly unflattering like other drop shoulder jackets. Spring-weight quilted cotton fabric, so do not rely on this for a lot of warmth.

Comfy preppy chic
Stretchy thin knit that doesn't cling to bulges. The "cape" is attached to the back of the collar, does actually add some warmth- wish it was removable! So easy to throw on- wish they made this in different colors

Love the surprise sleeve linings!
I should probably have looked at the composition prior to renting but was surprised by how thin and shiny the fabric was. That being said, I was still able to get good use of this dress in our unseasonably warm SoCal winter by layering with leggings and sweaters.

Static mess
This dress is very flimsy and I could not get the skirt to lay flat; the mesh layer clung terribly to the liner. To be fair, I did not steam it. I would not rent this one again, even in the spring/summer. The material was also pretty scratchy.

Dress has drop waist! Not separates!
Even with sizing down to a medium, the dress underneath is quite billowy and is dropwaisted so the pockets are a big too low. Can’t figure out a cute way to modify bc there’s a side zipper that bunches unpleasantly even if I try to lift up the waist with a belt. Sweatshirt is also still oversized even with sizing down. Prior reviews mentioned separates- I don’t know if this was a modification done by RTR but the dress is sewn onto the sweatshirt now so you can’t wear it as separates, as I had hoped.

Great cut, ruined by bad hardware
This is an adorably cut jacket with lovely structure and fit, but the buttons look and feel flimsier than a fast fashion version. They’re also not sewn in tightly so the buttons droop down, further cheapening the effect. Really disappointing bc otherwise it had such potential!

Gorgeous and elegant
Loved this dress- a bit large on top, but nothing that fashion tape couldn’t fix. Skipped the belt bc it was more flattering without it. The blue was so complementary to my cool undertones. Great rental!!
