Dramatic choker with strong, simple lines, reinforced the shape of my dress' neckline.
I loved the design of this choker. I wore it with the Allison Parris coral Marilyn gown, and the lines of the choker matched the cut of the neckline. The gold tone wasn't cheap or cheesy looking. It was a bold look that enhanced the femininity of the dress and I was super happy with the overall effect. The choker did move around a little bit, so in one or two of my prom photos it's slightly askew, but it wasn't a huge problem. I would definitely rent it again.

I wore these with the Allison Parris coral Marilyn gown and the Jules Smith revealing choker.
Because the dress and choker had strong, clean lines I chose these because they added a little frivolity to the overall look. The pink was light enough that the color blended really well with the coral dress and in fact it looked like a match. I never wear dangling earring and these were light enough that they didn't hurt at all. I was really pleased with my selection.

The second I spied this dress on RTR's website I knew it was exactly what I'd been looking for.
First of all, I love a formal dress with pockets! That was just the icing on this fab dress, which I wore to my prom. The coral colour is flattering on every skin tone, and the fit/flare cut is super feminine. The dramatically plunging neckline and the full, draped, asymmetrical cut to the skirt gave this dress the extra punch that really made it stand out. I felt like it was extremely tasteful despite the "wowsa" amount of cleavage it exposed. I'm 5'5", 114 lbs and I normally wear a size 0 in women's dresses. This fit true to size. I wore the 0L because the added length made it feel more formal and gave the impression of having a train. I did not wear a bra, and I really don't know how one could wear one unless you have one of those specialty bras that you buy in the Medieval Torture section of the lingerie dept. I did use a little dress tape just to insure against any wardrobe malfunctions (and so my dad would actually let me leave the house) and I had no issues at all, even when we were on the dance floor. I feel like this dress stood out, even among a sea of other pretty dresses. I received numerous compliments, including from total strangers when my friends and I were taking prom photos at a local park. In summation, I give this dress two thumbs up, and I wish I could own it. It's just perfect for any festive dress occasion. P.S. I accessorized with gold jewelry (Jules Smith revealing choker and Elise M gold Bergstrom earrings, both on RTR) and my mom's vintage gold Nina ankle strap heels.
