I got an XL and usually wear L - it was a little big. Still looked ok, but would definitely get true to your size.

Loved this dress - felt very classic and chic
I'm 5'6 and 12R was a little short - I wore nude strappy heels so it wasn't too noticeable, but would definitely recommend the Long for anyone average height or taller. Very fitted look, so I had to break out the spanx for this. The material helped smooth things out and had a little bit of stretch so it was comfortable.

Didn't end up wearing this dress bc it was my backup, but absolutely loved it!!
Will definitely rent again. I'm a 34C and didn't need a bra with it - perfect fit through the bust. I'm 5'6 and the long was perfect, I think a regular length would have been a little short but the slit in the front might conceal that for anyone on the fence.
