I'd suggest sizing down. These were so big in the waist and just overall too much fabric. They were really comfy just not flattering on me.

A bit roomy around the waist. I may have been able to get away with sizing down but I'm afraid it would have been too tight in the hips. I was still able to wear them comfortably but I did find myself pulling them up throughout the day.
