Almost perfect
If I get these again I would do a 29. The 28 was almost perfect but a little restrictive in the waist/hips. Otherwise they were so cute and high quality. As others have said, best for tall people.

Truly gorgeous and luxurious dress. Excuse my photo attempt at using the self timer! The top is black, I was uncertain from the description, but very pleased with the black velvet top contrasting with navy and black jacquard bottom. The bust and sleeve draping is lovely. As someone with wider hips my only critique is the dress looks a little tight across the hips. At 5’9” size 4 hit right at the top of my feet. I’m a true size 4, but I tried a size 2 as well and it also fit, but looked even more buckled at the hips so I went for the 4!

Comfy and high quality
I’m in between 4 & 6 and the small fits perfectly due to the elastic waistband stretch. The body material is thick and high quality without being restrictive. Recommend!

4R fit me perfectly!! I’m 5’9” and almost ordered 4L but the 4R length is perfect for my height just barely grazing the ground with no shoes. I failed to notice the metallic detailing (way more obvious in person) but love the look. They’re much lighter grey in person, I thought they were black from the photo, which didn’t matter to me but worth noting! I’m in love!

This dress fits so effortlessly and comfortably. The material is perfect, but it’s not a good material to have shoulder padding sewn into! The seams of the shoulder padding were a major flaw to me since you can see the edges pressing through the fabric, made me want to chop them out!

This dress is amazing! Unfortunately size 6 was way too roomy in the hip area for me and it looked too awkward to wear because it was obviously gaping there. I hope to rent a 4 sometime and try again. If you’re in between sizes I would recommend sizing down, especially if you have low hips.

Sleeves are very narrow and long
I should’ve guessed from the photo that the sleeves would be a bit long, I would’ve been fine with that, but they’re also disproportionately tight compared to the rest of the dress. I don’t have muscular arms, so I was very surprised how tightly the fit when the rest of the dress fit like a glove - other than that it would’ve been perfect, but sadly returned! Also, the dress has a white tag sewn right where the leg slit is, and it is visible when you walk which really bothered me!!! Otherwise I might’ve sized up.

Pros and cons
This dress is a nightmare to put on since it has no zipper and the extra fabric on the lower portion easily gets wrapped up. Once it’s on, it is very comfortable and I love the look of it. As a long torso girl I was kind of disappointed with how the waist laid on me (made my butt look long lol) but I still liked this a lot!! You’ll need pasties or a strapless bra that is smoothing (you can see in my picture the awkwardness from my strapless bra).

Great material, comfortable and not itchy. Nice pop of color. If you have similar body type to me, size small would be more form fitting if you prefer that in a sweater - I rented a medium and it fit well, but a little roomy in the sleeves.

I love it! It’s definitely very thick and kind of feel like wearing a knitted blanket (warm, structured, not flowy). Will be amazing for winter. I rented a medium, could’ve done a small but didn’t want it to be too cropped and I was happy with my size choice. I will rent again for sure!
