I paired it with a sleeveless top and I got a lot of compliments on the dress. I wore it with a patterned black and white top but I think it really goes well with a solid top color. Very cute for a professional, work event--I wore it to a company lunch event on a yacht. I'm heavier around my mid-section so I usually have to go up one or two sizes for skirts/shorts. I'm 5'2" and it sat about 1 inch above my knee, so it was a perfect length for a professional event for me. The material isn't too clingy and doesn't collect dust, I really liked this one.

Pro: not too short (I'm 5'2" and the romper sat a few inches above my knee), comfortable, can dress up in cute wedges or dress down in sandals. I'm 5'2" and the elastic band just didn't sit right. It's possible that if I had a size 6 I would've been able to gauge it properly. I was a size 10-12 but with my recent weight loss size 8-10 seemed appropriate, but I may have lost enough weight and inches to try a size 6. Anyways, the elastic band is supposed to sit below the waist according to the photo, but it sat near the hip for me which is why I think it's more for women who are at least 5'4" or 5'5". I had a 10 as backup which is my mother-in-law's size, when she tried it on it fit very nicely (she's 5'9").

The material in the skirt is slightly stretched, probably because it's a rental and other people who've worn it prior may have stretched it out. The dress is super pretty in person but if you're a little heavier like I am, it's not too flattering in pictures because the shimmer from the gold in the dress reflects with the flash. It felt great while I was in it because I've received so many compliments with this dress!
