Love this dress!
This dress was incredibly comfortable, fit in all the right places and the drape of the back was lovely, yet it still covered in the right places so you could wear regular lingerie. I wore it to a "cocktail dress" wedding and it was a little on the fancy side, but I received many compliments. I'd say it's more gold than in the website pics (looks a little pinker online), but it shimmered in the light beautifully and subtly; you could tell this was a real designer dress.

Unique, sexy dress - not for all body types.
I loved the pics of this dress on the site and while size M fit me in another Alexis dress, I know that clingy dresses can be tricky with my hips, so I get an L for my second size. And I ended up wearing the L! The M was tight in the bust (and I'm not big) AND the hips/bottom. Definitely order a size up! Overall, it wasn't the most flattering style for my figure (tall and slim, but with booty and wide hips)-- and the back cutout did make it tricky with a bra (I wore a black bra, tried to pass my lingerie off as part of the look). Also, the underslip, though attached to the dress, rode up a lot. I got lots of compliments on the dress, particularly from men, but I'm not sure I'd rent it again. Definitely a fun dress and a fashion statement for the someone with the right figure, though.

So many compliments!
I wore this dress to a black-tie gala in Manhattan and it was perfect! So many compliments, felt so comfortable and cute; it was original and fun and classy all at once. Fit was perfect-- I am narrow on top and wider hips and bottom and this dress suited my shape perfectly. Only downside was that by the end of the evening the sequin edges were chaffing my arms a bit and it agitated, but it wouldn't keep me from renting the dress again-- I would totally wear it again.
