Awesome dress but awkward when seated
Loved the dress. Fit great. Perfect blend of classy and sexy for a military ball event. 4 stars instead of 5 because—of the slit. Slit was perfect when standing and walking. When seated, the slit was awkward and hung in a way that left the top (around mid thigh) more open than I would’ve liked. So if you’re at a dinner table, keep the napkin over your lap or tucked behind a tablecloth. Would not recommend for an occasion where you might be seated on a stage or elevated table.

Cute and comfy (in a few sizes up) as maternity dress
Rented this dress in a few sizes up as a maternity dress for a baby shower. It was cute, comfortable, and I wore it over pants since it was a little chilly. An earlier review had mentioned the dress made them feel “frumpy and maternal” - when I read that, I thought “that is PERFECT” for what I was looking for. This dress is the kind of style I would explore again (post partum) for occasions where I'd feel more comfortable in a conservative but still stylish cut.

Elegant, Classy, Comfortable
Worn for a military ball. I'm 5'7", wore low wedges (about 1.5") and the regular length still dragged on the ground. This was avoided by kicking when I walked or just lifting it up. The dress itself is absolutely stunning. The back has beading that is hard to see in the online photos but look amazing in person. The lower half is gorgeous with the black floral threaded designs. I was able to wear it without a bra. Wore a statement necklace to give some pop at the neckline (from Hautelook) and the bracelet I wore was a sparkly cuff from RTR (KENNETH JAY LANE, Crystal Deco Bracelet). Great dress for athletic body type if you want to show off your shoulders. Most of the time I'm a 6, so I was nervous the 4 wasn't going to fit--I had a backup dress in size 6 in a different style, but I was SO thrilled this dress fit.

This was my backup style, but when the first dress was a fail, this was a clear winner. The thread has an iridescent shimmer to the embroidery, which made it gorgeous for a nighttime black tie wedding. The dress is lined and the outer layer is nice and thick, so even in temps down in the low 40s, I wasn't totally freezing walking around (with a scarf and light jacket). Very low cut, but there was enough structure to the dress that I could wear w/o a bra. The regular length worked for me: 5'7" and wore shoes w/ a low wedge about 1.5". Had to pick it up to go up stairs but wasn't tripping on it or getting stepped on. I absolutely loved this dress (comfy, flattering, and pretty) and thought it was much more impressive in person than the online photos. Necklace in the photo is also RTR. I rented once and then purchased when it came up on clearance sale.

Understated & classy
Wore for dinner/movie night out. The dress is comfortable, ended up wearing the 8 mostly due to length compared to 6. Took advice of other comments and safety-pinned the back clasp. In person, the gold is not like shiny sequins- more like shiny thread- so the look overall is classy & understated. Loved the dress & would consider renting it again. Recommend the style for any cocktail attire type event.

Perfect complement to the dress
Worn with a rented dress that was black on the upper half and had a silver and black patterned skirt. This necklace was the perfect complement to that.

Classy & Comfortable
Rented the 6L and 8L. I'm 5'7" and wore very low wedges (under 2 inches) and the 8L still didn't touch the ground. The dress itself arrived with a small snag in the hip area (not quite a tear)- likely only noticeable to the wearer when zipping up the dress. Ended up wearing the 8 vs 6 for hang vs fitted. High leg slit, left side- so very easy to move and walk around in. Flattering upper body cut, wore with normal black bra. Loved it!

Classy & comfortable
Wore for military wedding & reception & also a dressy night out for anniversary dinner. Loved the design. Hit a little above the knee. The fabric is pretty thick but you need to plan on wearing neutral or light colored undergarments. Classy without being too flashy.

Sparkly and flattering
Wore for Military Ball Las Vegas afterparty, which coincided with my birthday (I had to be in uniform for the ball itself). It was easy to slip on, could wear normal bra, and since I got the R instead of the Long, I could wear flats, which was a MUST after wearing heels earlier in the evening. Loved the dress and would consider renting this or similar style again.

Comfy & Classy
I wore this for an anniversary night out. The dress was comfortable, the length was perfect for a classy night out with my husband (aka - not trying to show off too much). The cutout in the back is right where a bra-line is. I knew this before I made the rental selection from the comments and reviews. I chose to wear a dark purple colored bra anyway, but it was chilly out, so I had a jacket on (kept the front open) when we were outside walking around. Overall, the visual design is great, the cut in the back is the only drawback.

Sparkle
The bracelet fit nicely - was loose enough to forget you're wearing it, but not so loose it was falling off your arm. It had the perfect touch of extra sparkle without being in the way. Easy to put on and take off. Perfect for a wedding or any other special occasion.
