Runs large and thin fabric
The drawstring will help the sizing but the fabric is so thin. I wore a long top with it, so it worked.

I sized up because of the high waist and wanted a relaxed fit. Even with the looser waist and sitting lower on my hips, the length came to just above the ankle.

I really liked the style and unique angled zipper, but the top belt has a small gap between the skirt and buckle. It's not too noticeable, but it draws away from it being a sharp look.

Great statement piece
I paired this with a pencil skirt for another gala and wore understated accessories, received several compliments on it. The fit keeps your arms downward or you'll be adjusting the neckline all night. Alternately you could use taping but I was worried it would create a buckled look any time I reached up, so I didn't.

Wore to a holiday gala and ladies stopped me to let me know my dress was a stunner. I have a shorter torso and longer legs so slits and low cut neck lines always worry me, but this fit great. I was worried I'd look a little "hippy" in it given my hourglass figure, so I'm including a photo for those of you who need the comparison.

I wore with boots and tights. It's pretty short but it worked well with the tights and I got so many compliments! A little steam on the sleeves to get the shipping wrinkles out and you're good to go!

Perfect just by itself.
I felt it may have shrunk a little or it's just a tight weave which made it hard to wear over any type of shirt, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I wore it by itself with a pair of jeans and brown boots and it was perfect. The squared shape helped balance the hips.

I'm 5'7" and the length drape touched the floor in my bare feet. It isn't a full dress (all the way around) underneath the cape. So keep that in mind for layering or undergarments because the cape material is thinner.

Perfect dress, so easy to wear anywhere.
I needed something quick to wear to a play with my son and wore this with some flat sandals. Then a week later wore it to work with heels. The waist isn't so cinched that you are holding anything in, but it still gives you a figure. The shoulder cut is perfect so you're not wondering if your bra straps are showing.
