I wore this for NYE and let me tell you, the dress paid for itself. I felt sexy, but still classy, and got many many compliments. The dress is very fitted, but I was still able to dance in it. Also, it is worth noting it is mostly wool (though fully lined)---the silk in the name is just the little bit around the bust. As for fit, I am usually a size 2, but thankfully I also ordered the 4 because I couldn't zip the 2 over my 32DD bust. (This dress shows ample cleavage, but isn't vulgar. The length helps in that regard---it hit just above the knee.) There wasn't much difference between the 2 and 4 in the rest of the fit, though. All in all, highly recommended!

This is a fun, sexy dress, but unfortunately you absolutely can't wear it with a bra. Unfortunately for me (32DD) that meant I couldn't wear it. It was almost okay without a bra, but not enough for me to really be comfortable (especially since I rented it for NYE and knew I'd be dancing all night.) For ladies with A or B cups, I think this would be a fantastic dress, though---it really highlights a small waist. Also, it is slightly darker than in the photo, sort of a dark pewter with gold highlights.
