Love at first sight
I rented this on a whim after I saw a reviewer’s picture and let me tell you this dress is an understated dream dress. The color, the simple lines, all of it is perfection. I’m wearing a small in this picture but I reordered up a size because I’m 34D. I like the way the small fits everywhere else but I needed a little extra room up top. I’m probably going to buy this and have it tailored a little bit because the medium is big on me in the waist. Lovely dress.

I rented the medium and thought it was too big so got the small. And I don’t know if it was washed and shrunk or if it was just that small. I could not even get it buttoned. Ended up re-ordering the medium and bought it. I really like the quality of this dress very thick and lays nicely. PS this dress is also available in an oatmeal color and the sizing runs completely different. The small fits me great and the material is quite different too. Bummer cause I would’ve bought that as well. I don’t think it’s as nice.

Envisioned this for cocktails and date. Def could dress it up. Ended up wearing it for work with a little belt and a cropped white denim jacket. I think I would rent this again… But I’m on the fence if I like it or not. It was an easy wear. I think it would be better if it was lined. I wore a full slip with it.

I’m a size 4-6. I ordered it in a 6 and an 8. Both fit! The 8 is definitely roomy, but I like the way the cap sleeves sit better so I’m buying the 8. Since it has a waist tie, it definitely passes. May have to have the ribs tailored, but it just looks gorgeous and high class. I will wear this for cocktails, brunch, dinners, graduation… Just a beautiful high-quality dress.

Very pretty dress. I had this for a couple of weeks before I decided just to wear it to work so I could swap. Such beautiful fabric and very high-end. I feel like it made me look bigger than I am due to the empire waist. But I’m very tall so it could just be the way it fit me. I wore it to work with a blue chambray shirt. I think I would rent this again for a summer date simply because it just felt so feminine.

So cute. I didn’t get the chance to wear this out because my plans changed, but it is definitely on my list to rent again. I’m tall and I found the length short but flattering. Is the Lilly for Target? Between the picnic table cloth like fabric to pom pom embellishments… just bad. I am a huge Lilly fan but this misses the mark in every way. I cannot resist Lilly Pulitzer rompers. I own multiple which I have paid full price for. I jumped at the chance to rent this. Most other Lilly rompers I wear a 4 but in this style a 6. With that said it got a little baggy after a few hours and wrinkled quite a bit unlike my others. These are so easy to throw on for a quick lunch, running errands or summer eve party on the boat and look put together. I’m on a buying fast and resisting buying this, but I don’t think I can help myself with a good RTR coupon.

I really wanted to love these, but the size 6 was too big and the size 4 was too small. I did wear the size 6 for a quick lunch date, but I felt sloppy in them because they were stretching a lot and as a result riding low. That’s why I ordered the size 4. And the 4 was a bit too snug as I like to wear linen a little bit loose. I didn’t wanna take a chance with them loosening up so I just sent them both back. Such a bummer cause I was planning to buy.

When I first got this, I was planning to send it back. But I decided to give a try and I’m so glad I did. I love this shirt so much. It’s been my favorite RTR selection of the summer.
