This was a perfect dress for a September wedding reception. I opted not to wear the tie (just one more thing to have to fiddle with), and I thought it looked just fine without it. I ordered a M and a S. The S was too tight in the chest, so I ended up going with the medium. The material was nice and overall the dress hung loose enough to be comfortable and dance-ready but not so loose that it looked too big or sloppy. The color was a nice shade of blue.

I ordered this dress for our school's dinner auction. It was the right amount of fun coupled with the right amount of class and a touch of sexy with the cold shoulder. Black tights and black booties competed the look. It did lean more toward a bit of red-orange but it was beautiful nonetheless. The material was geeat--not too heavy. I'm 5"10", 145lb, triathlete, and the medium was perfect. Based on other reviews, I ordered a small as backup but didn't need it. I'd rent this again in a heartbeat!

I received this dress because my first choice was not available. I want a red dress and had not originally seen this one. I was very excited to get it. I rented it for a school dinner auction of which the school colors are red, white and black, so this dress was perfect for the occasion. The dress fit perfectly. While it was not formfitting, I did like the fact that it had a little extra space to move. The pockets added a nice touch. Also, I took the advice of a previous renter and wore my hair up to accentuate the ruffle around the top. Would definitely rent again.

I was excited about the dress but it did not fulfill my expectations. It was not my most favorite RTR dress. The sequins under the arms did chafe a bit after 3 hours (which other renters commented as well). The length was perfect and I loved the pockets. I felt the top, though, was a little long and, consequently, did not give much definition to the waist. It tended to rest on the billowing skirt and gave a very "blocky" look. I'm 5'10" and had this problem--I think this would be even more pronounced if someone was shorter or short-waisted. My husband said it looked fine but agreed that I've rented better. If the top was just a couple inches shorter it would have had a totally different look!

I needed an outfit for my kids' school's auction fundraiser and had grown tired of the basic little black dress. This romper was perfect! Thinking outside the box (but not too far outside the box, I couldn't bring myself to order the hot pink one!), I thought I'd try this romper. After reading the reviews, I was hopeful that this romper would fit someone taller...and it did! This was a great find on RTR! I have a 63.5" torso, and this romper fit beautifully with enough room in the torso to comfortably sit down as well. The fabric is a little thicker, and it is very well constructed. I wore it on a 45 degree evening, but, even though it is a thicker material, this would be fine for spring, summer, or fall weather. My husband was very complimentary when he saw it...and very sad when I told him it was a rental--he was hoping I had purchased it. :) Though I dressed it up, I think this is a versatile romper and would fit a variety of sizes, shapes, and events.

I rented this set of 3 stacked rings to go with the Milly Silver Sequins Aline Dress (shown in picture). They complimented the dress perfectly. Since they fit my left hand ring finger best, I wore them in place of my wedding set. My only complaint is that they rubbed my pinkie finger to the point of a blister.

This was the perfect, standout, make-a-statement dress for my husband's staff Christmas party. The sequins made it festive, while the short length made it cute and flirty--without being over-the-top. The material did have a bit of give to it, so it did not feel confining. I was a bit nervous about the chafing as described by other renters, so I used some Body Glide on the underside of my arms which I think helped. I wore the dress for 6 hours and did not have a problem with it rubbing. I got lots of compliments the whole night and felt like a million bucks! I do think it runs a tad big: I ordered an 8 (my normal size) and a backup 6. The 8 was fine...a little roomy, but not overly big. I actually liked the way the 6 fit better (more form fitted), but there was a spot on the front where it looked like some sequins had come off, so that's why I chose the 8. Be prepared, it is a short dress! I was fine standing up and dancing, but if I had dropped anything it would have had to stay on the floor!

Two thumbs way up for a wedding reception dress! RTR did not have my back-up size 10, but the 8 could not have fit any better! 36/29/36 measurements, the 8 fit perfectly. While it was definitely not highlighter or fluorescent orange, it was still noticeably brighter than portrayed in the website picture. I really liked the color--it made me look tan! It was pretty short...and even shorter when I sat down but did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. I wore a regular bra and, at first, used the bra hooks. After a short time, I felt like I was constantly pulling the dress back up on to my shoulders so I undid the hooks and was not bothered at all the rest of the evening. I got a lot of compliments on the dress and the earrings (I rented the Ella Carter Alex earrings and they coordinated perfectly!!!). I'm a first time renter and the experience could not have been better...people couldn't believe it when I told them about RTR. I'll be back the next time I need a dress!

I rented the Shoshanna Katrina Blouson Dress and wanted some fun earrings to go with it. I didn't want to detract from flouncy-edged bodice of the dress with a necklace, so I knew I wanted to concentrate on some WOW earrings. Though they were a bit heavier than what I usually wear, after 6 hours they were not bothering me at all. The bottom section matched the orange color of the dress...just many shades lighter (which was perfect because the dress was so bright, I didn't want the jewelry to compete with the color of the dress). Fancy, fun, and cute! Great match!
