This dress was form-fitting, but thick enough that it was forgiving in the way of undergarments and tummy rolls. There is enough support and padding that I did not have to wear a bra. It was more comfortable than a lot of sequined dresses I have worn, but the particular one I had has seen better days. The boning in the corset was coming out and jabbed/scratched my side all night and the zipper tab broke off before I even put the dress on, making it EXTREMELY difficult to zip-up. This was not the dress I rented, but a back-up that RTR sent me when mine was "unavailable" to ship. I had to fight myself not to give it a lower review, because while I was really unsatisfied with the rental, I cannot deny it was a lovely dress. I knew I was going to be wearing this dress for many hours at a black tie wedding, so I wanted something comfortable and had originally chosen a high-waisted ballgown with pockets...therefore I was very disappointed when I received a form-fitting dress. I recommend this dress if you want to stand out!

I rented this dress to wear out to dinner and a show in New York City. It was incredibly comfortable and looks polished and fun! The color is a gorgeous true red and the ruffle at the top was the perfect addition. I rented an 8 and a 10 and ended up wearing the 8, and probably could have worn a 6. I am 5'2" and 140lbs with a smaller waist and large hips. The pockets were handy, too! This could be dressed up with heels and some jewelry, or dressed down for a more casual event.

I wore this to a Junior League dinner and awards banquet and received compliments all night! If you want a unique twist on formal wear - this jumpsuit is for you! I rented the 8 and the 10P based on reviews, and I ended up wearing the bigger one. The 8 fit, but I felt like it pinched my back a little bit...which is not flattering when your back is exposed :). I wore a NuBra, but that was more for my own comfort rather than necessity. I managed to zip it up and clip the back straps myself, so no worries about going to the restroom yourself - it just may take an extra 20 seconds. The only thing was it was LONG. I wore 5" platform heels and still had to use hem tape. Unfortunately the fabric was heavy and the lining was slick, so the tape didn't hold quite as well as I hoped and by the end of the night it had come undone. Regardless, I loved it and recommend it to anyone who is tired of a red cocktail dress!
