perfect way to spice up a little black dress situation ;) so comfortable, so sexy and really a confidence booster when worn. and its like a 2-for-1 deal: for starters, you get more than just a little black dress with this since the gray under layer actually pops out quite significantly so enhances the intricate design of this dress rather than feeling you just threw on a boring black-made-out-of-anything outfit that will just blend in with the night and not get noticed for fashion's sake (NOT cause you're a seeking attention kinda gal ;) and secondly, i wore this during the day to work with a blazer top over to simmer down its sexiness a bit and be more office appropriate since its quite short and fitting, and then easily turned it into an out of office straight to dinner date outfit without having to go home and change. i don't know about you but since i hit 30, i loooove those kinda outfits ;) PS you can breathe in a 2 (if you're a usual 2) without feeling like you'll explode after dinner

no special occasion, just a special gallery opening i wanted/needed to attend for my line of work and had one of those days of a closet filled with clothes and nothing to wear... soooo instead of dishing out the dough to buy something spontaneous & new but would probably get sick of soon, i resorted to rent the runway for outfit ideas. once again, so happy i did cause girls just wanna have fun (and if i had the funds, i would buy this retail to own. i had so much fun wearing this dress and it showed because i paired it up with my bright red glasses and my red suede louboutins (whole outfit photographed, last photo out of 3). i was literally stopped and complimented on the entire night from people that knew me (saying it was one of their fave outfits on me), and strangers (said i was distracting the artwork of the gallery opening with such a vibrant and ravishing dress). wore the 4 which was slightly loose also due to the fabric (its not stretchy, and the raw silk tends to loosen up after a few hours) BUT i chose to go with a 4 rather than a 2 because i absolutely wanted to be comfortable all night long without seeking a maxi dress kinda thing. BINGO, it worked. so petite girls that feel frumpy some days and rather not suck in all night or constantly checking if any wobbly bits are falling out when they're not supposed to... go with your gut and get a 4 (literally, your gut will thank you for that extra air ;)

Lovely backup, was a hard choice between this and the very similar Temperley London Rustic Romance Gown. Definitely true to its pink nature, and quite snug but true to it euro tiny size (euro 0-2)

For my flirty thirty birthday party, 1930s themed, I got this dress and it was absolute perfection! Comfortable, glamorous, didn't trip over it as length was just right, great sensual cut for less busty girls (needed some tape just to feel safe)... Only slight difference is color from RTR website photo... its not actually that pinkish, its more neutral which makes the shine of the material much prettier in person rather than an entire solid color all over. Wish I could wear this again as more long glamor dresses should always feel this comfortable! But since I was the bday girl and having a whole photoshoot (more photos coming soon as soon as the photographer sends them over to me) I can't play repeat on this one... Definitely a must rent for all you girls out there. My bday theme or not, the Hollywood glitz & glam from another era is definitely a main feeling this dress exudes ;) Thank you RTR for making my bday so memorable with this dress!

runs too large and not proportionate, dress was slightly loose but the nude netting ran extremely large and bunched up in the back causing the zipper to flap over. is not the same yellow as the photos advertised, more of a darker mustard lime green instead so even if it did fit, I wouldn't have been able to wear it with the earrings I ordered to match the dress i followed the size & fit descriptions provided and orderred a size up... big mistake since it was too big and couldn't wear the dress

Loved the fit, didn't sway or dangle too much which is always a plus especially when worn with hair down so it never tangled with my hair. Light for busy earrings, another great plus. And received TONS of compliments on them. Wore them with an all black outfit during a daytime work lunch and they really popped out and made the outfit, what a perfect accessory should do. And then wore at night with a busy evening outfit, received even more compliments! Would definitely consider again in the near future....
