It was great to try on a dress I had envied on the site for quite sometime!
I tried this dress on at the RTR Employee Moments Party--I had loved the dress, after seeing pictures of it on the site (I LOVE 'backless' dresses) Unfortunately we couldn't find the belt when I tried the dress on so I was left looking less than flattering. The size I wore was also pretty big for me, so the sleeves had some trouble staying up; so the belt would've probably helped with the fit issue too. I would recommend ordering a size down and if you're busty make sure you wear the belt to create a more attractive figure!

A complete stranger approached me at Penn Station to compliment the dress and ask where I had gotten it from
I wore this dress to a Kate Spade/Rent the Runway event and LOVED it. After my original order didn't work out, RTR stylists suggested this one, I was hesitant since I'm usually not a fan of orange but the dress looked amazing in person! Fit perfectly and got a lot of compliments! Hits above the knee and Shoshanna is great for a full bust.

The dress made a great night out with friends even better
Wore this to a birthday party in NYC. Even though it is very much a daytime dress, it still transitioned well to going out to dinner and bars. With the summer heat it was great to have a light weight dress that wasn't skintight. As other reviews mentioned it is pretty long despite how it is modeled; I wasn't able to pin the bottom layer like customers, instead I pulled a lot of the fabric over my belt which raised the hem line.

My favorite rental ever
This dress is my FAVORITE rental to date! I was afraid as to if it was going to look okay because I felt like it was for girls with a smaller build but the dress worked out great--was a perfect length and the cut out detail is so unique, it makes the dress one of a kind.

I tried this on at the RTR Employee Moments Party--I think this would've been a great dress to wear either to a formal affair or out at night depending on how you decide to dress it up or down, it seemed pretty versatile. I wore a size up since the 4 wasn't available and the fit was a little loose so I think it's pretty true to size. The fabric of the dress looks much more attractive in person. The dress is fitted in the chest and waist then has a flare skirt--which can make you look a little wider if you have hips, or at least that is what I found.

I tried this dress on during the RTR Employee Moments Party--the dress is very nice, definitely would've worn it to a formal event because of both the length and the overall look of the material. It wore a size up and it was still very tight in the bust so I would recommend ordering a size up if you have a chest.

Even though I wore this for a day event I could've just as easily dressed it up for a night out--such a versatile dress!
I usually steer away from strapless dressy but this style was gorgeous, very flattering!
