This is a YES outfit. You wear it and everyone's head turns and everyone just says yes to you all night long. It was a bit big on my waist (the size 8 fit my waist and hips perfectly, but my torso was too long to get the halter around my neck), so I wore a belt with it to keep from gapping in the back. I absolutely loved this dress - I don't have a helpful photo at the moment, but it was wonderful. The straps, as other ladies have pointed out, are a bit loose. I didn't have to wear a bra, and at a 34DD, I was shocked and impressed by this; I am usually deeply uncomfortable if I do not wear one, but it was easy to do with this dress. The size 8 fit perfectly. I absolutely could not have done the 6, but the 10 would have been far too large on my waist. I thought the length was perfect at mid-thigh level. I wore this during my wedding weekend my my father and future father-in-law were meeting for the first time (we had a "parent" dinner at a nice steak house in NOLA). It is just gorgeous. It isn't too short and it while I didn't have much wiggle room I would not have wanted to go up a size - the 10 would have been far too large on my waist. And yes, loads of compliments were given that night.
