I sent this right back because the dress just ate me up. This is not designed for the shorter girl. Because of the cut and flow of the skirt, if you are too short and it doesn't hit at the knee it will feel like it is just swallowing you up. This fell about mid-calf on me at 5'3".

Runs very short but that wasn't the main issue. I'm not busty and I constantly had to be pulling the shoulders and top down because it was so loose in the chest. If I didn't adjust it, the dress would be falling off my shoulders. If you are lacking in chest but heavier in the middle section, this dress isn't going to fit you well.

This worked great for a conference I attended in Texas. It was funky, fun, and went incredibly well with cowboy boots! The dress runs a little on the large size so if you are on the edge of a size, size down.
