Adorable cover up!
Such a fun 60s vibe! It’s definitely a cover up, not a dress you can wear normally without a slip underneath. The material is thick but I didn’t overheat because of how loose the crochet is.

Sexy! But weirdly large on bottom
This dress was a compliment magnet! It’s definitely short—if I sat down or fully bent over, my whole butt was out. But it was totally fine for dancing (no twerking lol). Only size note is that despite the top fitting well, there was a huge amount of gaping at the top of the skirt. It didn’t matter because the material draped well, but it was an extra 2-3” at the hips oddly. And I have pretty wide hips!

Size up for the waist
I normally wear a size S or 26/27 for bottoms and the M fit perfectly here. The elastic is sturdy without feeling too tight after sizing up. The rest of the shorts are flowy and didn’t feel overwhelming but I do have wider hips for my proportions!

Modern and chic but see-through on back
I got a TON of compliments on this dress that I wore to an all white themed party. It’s very chic and comfortable, and felt very forgiving after eating a large dinner in it. The only downside is that the backside is entirely the sheer cape material, making any underwear highly visible. I had to wear a nude laser cut thong.
