I rented this dress for a charity gala and wanted it to work so badly. The 16 was available, and I had read to size up, so I went with it. It was huge. Sadly I had to return it, but the color and materials looked and felt expensive. I will definitely rent again in a size 12.

This dress is beautiful! And the color really pops. The fabric is amazingly comfortable, a bit heavier so it easily slims and hides imperfections, and hangs very well. It did run large for me, I could have easily gone a size or two down, I ordered a 12 and would have been most comfortable in a 10. For reference, I am 5'3, curvy and muscular and I'm right around 165 lbs now.
