The juxtaposition between fabrics and fit gives this shift dress a balance of sophistication and youthful whimsy. Running true to size with a looser midsection, I recommend choosing your true size as the primary size and one size up as your backup size. Any style of bra and cup size will work with this dress. In terms of length, at 5’9”, I found the hem to hit my mid-thigh area. Overall, I love how every unique element of the design is added with thought and purpose. By embellishing the black lace with star-shaped buttons, it is evident that the designer intended to create a prominent dual aesthetic. The artistry behind the garment not only reflects the intricacies of the various design features, but also the complexities behind the woman who wears it.
