I think I own/rent numerous iterations on this particular silhouette because it is just so darn flattering. I'm short but with black leggings and heels this dress made me look thin and tall. I also love the fact that it keeps the focus on your chest - which doesn't expand after a few glasses of champagne and wedding cake :) I was able to happily eat and dance first at my boyfriend's work holiday party and a few weeks later at a wedding. If it ever shows up on eBay in my size, I'm buying it.

I rented this after realizing Mrs. O wore the same print in an evening gown. I love the fabric and highly detailed embroidery but THERE IS NO GIVE as mentioned by other reviewers. I'm an attorney and thankfully had a blazer to cover my back but I found myself unzipping it slightly just so I could move my arms to write in files while in court. I think a 10 might have been more comfortable just across the chest. I'm a normal size 4/6 and have an average B cup but I have a weird rib cage thanks to borderline scoliosis so I often fluctuate just to accommodate my barrel chest issues. I don't think this would work for women with breasts larger than a B cup unless you go up a size or two. I will definitely rent again but probably size up or wait until I fulfill my New Year's resolution of getting back to the gym :)

Rented a medium with the anticipation that I would be wearing layers underneath. Should have stuck with my regular small. The fabric is wonderfully luxe and soft but there was too much bunching behind my back. I looked like I was wearing my boyfriend's much larger robe. Excited to return and get the small ASAP because I do love the fabric.

Like one of the other reviewers, I loved this so much that I bought it. I only took one star off because, unlike most jackets where the sleeves are one piece, the sleeves here are made out of two so there is a horizontal stitch across the sleeves joining them below the elbow. This didn't bother me too much because I tend to scrunch up the sleeves but it's worth noting in terms of quality. However, the fit, color, relatively wrinkle-free fabric and the number of times I plan on wearing this to work made it a must buy. Glad I was lucky to get one with the tags still on. :)
