Beware! You can get this same dress in short sleeves!
I ordered this dress for the long sleeves so I could wear it to work in the winter. I received the short sleeve version instead. It didn't really matter as I was going on vacation and could use it there, but I'm just a little confused as the short sleeve version isn't even on the website?

Very cute red dress! Perfect for hiding midsection!
I was 15 weeks pregnant wearing this dress for Christmas. The tie hit perfectly where you couldn't really notice the bump. I would say this dress runs a little large if you aren't pregnant, but I enjoyed the extra room! It meant I could eat all the turkey!

This dress was a little tight on the tummy area, and accentuated something that I was already a little self-conscious about. It would be fine if you don't mind a tighter fit. A-line and fit and flare look best on me, and - while I love most things Shoshanna - this just didn't fit my personality (or tummy). Beautiful color though!

This is - by far - the best rental I have ever made off RTR! I am going to buy it! I wore this dress for my Husband's birthday, and saw at least 3 people turn around to look at the dress! Beautiful embroidery, enough room to move around, gorgeous blue color, adorable lace on the sleeves! You can dress this up with heels and a nice bag for a dinner out, or wear with wedges for a casual day, or even pair it with some comfy sandals to tour around in on vacay! Like I said...this one...I'm buying! I'm in love!

Cute skirt! No give in waist.
Very cute skirt. Easy to wear with sneakers (for vacay!) May be a bit tighter in the waist than some other skirts, so if you are unsure, I would go up a size. I'm usually between a size 4 and 6, and the 6 was snug.

This dress was great to spice up my closet for work, but didn't have enough wow factor to buy. I was worried about the sheerness of the back since I work in a conservative office. Paired it with a blazer, and voila! No problemo!

I can't tell you how much I love this dress!
I kept this dress for over 2 months. I couldn't bear to return it. The yellow was a perfect shade for my more olive tone. Made me look more tan. The movement of the dress was light and fresh. The bow on the front made it feminine and unique. The ruffles added to the intrigue. I contemplated buying this about 6 different times, but returned it with the intention of re-renting in a few months (thanks Unlimited!) I wore this on vacation during the day in Miami. Wore it to a more casual dinner later that week. Wore it for my dad's birthday dinner. AND THEN, I wore it AGAIN because I made him lemon merengue pie for his birthday, and it was just too perfect not to match! Second favorite rental!

Very cute sweater in that the stars are glittery and a unique pattern to a typical sweater. What I hadn't realized from the other reviews is that the sweater is truly cropped. It looks great on some girls - but if you have a larger chest or a short torso, I would probably skip. It just cut me in half and wasn't flattering. I ended up adding a jean jacket on top (it was cold enough) to hide most of the crop - but why hide the sweater in the first place?

I rented this dress for a beach trip to Miami and wore it three times! Once for the beach as a cover up, once for a casual lunch, and once at a nice steakhouse. Paired with a nice bag and some cute heels, you can dress this up. Didn't wear a slip for either the beach or the lunch (it's Miami! Who cares!?) But did wear a slip when I took it out for dinner in Dallas. So cute! Would love to keep it!

I rented two dresses for my Aunt's wedding...both Shoshanna's. I loved the other one so much, I used it for another event. My dad and cousin liked the floral tones to this one more, so I used it for her wedding. Shoshanna is usually the brand that fits me the best, but this is the first time that a size 6 is large on me. Needless to say, it was still a gorgeous dress, just a little looser than I would have liked. Should have gone with a 4, but still received compliments all night!

Beware the belly!
I'm a smaller girl, but the dress is pretty tight around the mid-section. It accentuated my belly (and I'm not THAT big). I would stay away unless you are straight and narrow. Didn't wear this dress and actually returned it for another rental.

Very vivid color and cute metallic detailing. It was cold that night, so I paired it with tights and knee high boots. As the other reviews say, the fit it a little strange, so I added a belt to bring more focus on the waist. Without the belt, it looked a little frumpy.

There is so much fabric around the chest for the ruching that it made me look like a pinata. The fabric started pulling across my stomach in weird lines and the color is a dirty looking beige (not white). Overall, I just couldn't wear it. Tried it with a cardigan. Tried it with a blazer. Tried it as is. Tried it with a different belt. Yuck. Yuck. And Yuck.

Typical Shoshanna dress! I'm in love with it and it fits well. I was worried about the ties and showing off too much skin for work but it is a high quality dress that closes shut. No peek throughs! I wore this coat so much during the month I rented it through Update. I wore to work, when my fanily came to visit, to dinner, and took it on a weekend trip to Memphis. I am surprised that I only had a couple of photos in it! I would have bought it except it looked a little used. Overall great coat. A little on the bigger side but that's perfect for colder days with extra sweaters underneath. Beautiful navy and red colors. So many compliments!

This dress fit me perfectly around the waist, shoulders, arms, everything. But those buttons! I warn every girl considering to rent this to really look at the photos and to be honest. I'm a 34-D, and no matter what I did, I couldn't wear this dress. The top kept popping open and gaping. Would not rent again - didn't even wear it.

Perfect Birthday Dress!
I rented this for my birthday and for New Years Eve! This dress was a complete success. It made me look and feel youthful but it wasn't a tight dress like so many other sequin dresses (which means I could enjoy dinner...AND birthday cake!) I thought the colors on this dress were really pretty, and I was dying to wear it. Simple, Elegant, Timeless, and Classic.
I had signed up to go to a Gala months prior and forgot all about it until 2 days before the event. I realized that I needed a long formal gown ASAP. I remembered my friends using RTR in the past and quickly browsed through last minute options. I came across this dress, ordered it, and it was on my doorstep in 48 hours. While the zipper was a bit bent from prior uses, my husband helped zip it up. Once it was zipped, it fit perfectly. I have a bigger chest and the dress made me feel pretty! I didn't even wear a bra and it provided appropriate support. The length was perfect with 3 inch heels and didn't need anything taller. The fit was loose enough where I could dance the night away (and really boogie!) It's a simple and elegant dress that will look great in photos, make you feel comfortable, and without the large price tag of the original cost. It sure got me out of trouble and in a short time frame! Thanks again, RTR. Would use you again!
