You will rent this dress again and again
A bold and exciting color and very flattering fit. Not too sexy for work if you do TV news.

Beware of cleavage
For some reason, with this particular style of DVF wrap dress, cleavage is an issue. You have to wrap it JUST the right way to get it to look work appropriate, and even so you will likely have to re-tie it completely multiple times throughout the day. If you're someone who doesn't like to fuss with clothes, be aware of this problem.

Gorgeous cutouts, forgiving cut
This dress fit beautifully. The fabric is heavy but not distractingly so--and DOES NOT GET DIRTY EASILY. That's a huge plus for anyone in broadcasting who wears these dresses with a full face of makeup. True to size.

Odd cut on the sides
The idea of this dress is great. It's more of a grey color in person and the fabric is a little rough. I fit into a 6 but am usually a 2/4. I couldn't wear it because the arm holes made the fabric flutter in the front. That same issue is visible in other photos here. I thought that maybe if I had a bigger bust this would be less of an issue.

Strange fit, couldn't wear it right
I work in an environment where we can take a few fashion liberties, and I saw others wearing this dress in review photos pulling it off. I could not. I believe the fabric lays best when it is completely off the shoulder, which wouldn't work for me. Other women in the photos seemed to have managed a more conservative look with this dress, but the fabric was bunching up for me in odd places.

Flattering shape, nothing incredible
I rented this for work under the guise that it wasn't anything incredibly unique, and it served its purpose. I ordered an S but could have sized down to the XS for a more fitted look. The dress looked just about how it does in the model photo, so I can't complain. I'd say if you go back and forth between S and XS you could probably size down.

Attention getter
The dress was beautifully constructed and appeared exactly as it did on the model. I wore the collar straps tied in a bow behind the collar since I was wearing it on TV. Otherwise there are different ways you could have styled the dress.

Looked great on camera
This dress came in and the material looked a bit papery/baggy--the sort that easily wrinkles because it is thin and light. However, once on it was pretty. It's black and is the sort of fabric that dirt and makeup sticks to easily, something else to keep in mind.

Flattering dress, mildly uncomfortable fabric
Everyone said this dress was a knockout, but I broke out into a terrible rash after a few hours of wearing it. The fabric is a bit scratchy and thin, but this dress has a beautiful shape and color.

Flattering shape
The dress was surprisingly quite flattering. I paired it with a Zara blazer, but it looked just as good on its own. On me, the sleeves (or lackthereof) were much more narrow than on the model, so I was showing a bit more shoulder than anticipated. Overall, this was a dress I could see in my closet.

True to size. Small was snug, and I'm not very busty--so although it was low cut, it wasn't too revealing for work. It appeared red on TV but is in fact orange, like it appears in the display photo. Dress was in good condition.
