Coworkers kept telling me I looked like works by different artists. Personally felt like a Georgia O'Keefe. Incredible quality, lightweight fabric, so comfortable, felt like a thousand dollar dress which I guess it is

Huge yet pretty
Really specific fit. Is very low-cut with back cutouts. extremely shape-skimming and tent-like. However if you're pretty flat-chested like me it's very flattering. If you're attending a very hot event or going on a tropical vacation then this is perfect- ventilated and loose, provides plenty of coverage

Surprise party in the back?
Cute but I think I need a class on how to wear this. The front is really spiffy and flattering, assumed the tails were supposed to create a wraparound silhouette. Maybe I was right? Maybe not? I'm the first person to rent and review this, so this pic is my take on how maybe it can be styled. Will probably not wear to work because camis are dorky on me. May rent again for some type of swimsuit coverup. Not a straightforward piece to be the first to style!!

Fit nicely but a little dramatically
Pros: Pretty neckline, bust, nice stomach-skimming shape-- Elizabeth and James is a really flattering brand if you really just want to look like your weight has never, ever fluctuated Cons: fabric feels heavy and synthetic; sleeves do a whole renaissance fair thing

Flowy and standout (no one said sexy)
Didn't feel sexy but felt free unique and respected for my style choice. I wore this for brunch in Williamsburg knowing that my audience was right there. True to expectations I felt kinda childish in head-to-toe handprint design but MAN did I feel cute once I noticed how the cut of the bottoms and top caught the breeze. Approaches from foreigners mostly asking the brand name. I was a walking spokesperson for Elk... brand owes me some portion of revenue for all my referrals.

I'm now known for this coat
Wore this coat for a couple weeks mid-February and got a reputation around the office for having noteworthy style. My boss called it "very soul train" and I got compliments in the elevator from other tenants in the building who work at architecture and design firms. Turns heads in soho!! I wish I could afford to keep it.

Looks like a sack on the hanger but is insanely flattering, warm and pretty with ribbed details and a low-cut back. Don't want to return it :( it's perfectly seasonal and I may hold onto it through Feb

Static disaster
The fit was cool- flattering and architectural- but this fabric sucks. Not only is it staticky polyester but the surface sheen and texture make it very Liberace. Might be good for a cocktail party with gold jewelry, black pants and heels, but not great for work or everyday. Sleeve shape makes it impossible to layer.

Oversized (sleeves go past my hands) with lots of thoughtful details, like a hidden button closure, optional stand-up collar and roomy pockets. Definitely a high-quality piece. The color is beautiful.

Every detail is beautiful and I will be looking for similar items via consignment/ thrift stores. Realistically this is not a unique coat, thrift smartly and you'll find similar items, however it is nice to wear one that feels new! If you like oversized and boxy cuts, this is an incredible piece, just don't expect it to be something it's not

Unflattering
Neat fabric and a lot of artisanal touches, unfortunately the material is unforgiving and I felt too uncomfortable to wear it. Keep in mind that this is an architectural piece to be used as a statement, which is not evident in pictures. Not a funky corduroy skirt
