I could not tell from the photo how sheer the top is - maybe I didn't look hard enough, but I did not realize it was not line from the empire waist band down. You could see my belly button in the portion that was see through. I tried to find a nude take to wear under it, but that did not look right. It's a very pretty top, and had I been going to a different holiday party, I would have worn it, but I did not think it was appropriate for my work environment (fairly conservative).

This was my first rent the runway experience and I was very pleased! I could have worn either size, but decided to go with the 4 because I knew the 4 would be a little more comfortable after dinner. I would rent this dress again.

I am a size 2 and the small was too tight in my thighs. I think the only body type that could wear this would be straight and thin. I am athletic/curvy on the bottom and this was not going to work. The small was too tight in the bottom half , but fit ok on the top half. the medium was still too tight on the bottom half but way too big on the top half and too long for my liking (basically a midi length on me). There is no give to the dress just like previous reviewers have mentioned. I noted that it ran small so I ordered a small and a medium - I figured there is no way a size 2 should not be able to fit in a small or medium dress - I was wrong! Pretty dress, just not for curves! I returned it without being able to wear it.
