Strangely Frumpy
I thought this dress would be fun and flirty but it’s strangely frumpy and very uncomfortable. While it’s skirted, there is a tight band along the edge of the skirt that makes it fit like a form fitting dress and makes it hard to walk. The dress also runs very small. I usually wear a 4P at J. Crew but had to wear an 8 to get it over my butt and then the other parts, like the sleeves were too big. I didn’t end up wearing this dress and wouldn’t recommend it.

I didn't wear this.
I had ordered another gown via RTR and my backup was destroyed so they kindly shipped this dress to me. I was ecstatic! I couldn't wait to wear a $5,000 dress. However, it was a no. It felt matronly. The sleeves were way too big which made them puffy and the bodice of the gown has a very odd fit. It's almost like the whole top is baggy. It's just not that flattering.

Beautiful color.
I had almost given up on RTR. I feel like things never fit, and then you're out of luck. I ended up with a $150 credit which I tried to sell for a year, and no one jumped on it. In the end, I decided to use the credit. I ordered the Peacock Dress in a 6p. At 5'4 with 3" heels, it was a perfect length. The dress fit like a glove, like it was made for a real person, not a modely type. In fact, my backup size was damaged and RTR also sent the Maralena Gown by GABRIELA CADENA which is a $700 rental, a $5,000 dress, and I chose this one. This one was lovely, and the color is stunning. Of course, my husband was my best accessory. He sported the Hugo by Brackish, to compliment the dress, and received way more compliments than I.

Cute and Fun, Poofy In the Back
I liked this dress. It's simple and fun. But be forewarned that the fabric isn't very comfortable. Also, it sort of poofs out in the back. This didn't bother me, but I took a picture so you can decide if it bothers you. The dress is also open in this section, like a keyhole and the underlining is sort of flesh colored. With that said, it's def a casual dress and not a work dress. I enjoyed it and thought the color was fun.

Too Big, Too Mom
I rent from RTR frequently and in designer clothing I wear a 6. This is sized more like an outfit from the Gap. I needed a 4 or maybe even a 2. But that's not why I didn't like it. I didn't like it because it's just too mom. I was hoping that linen would be casual and perhaps beachy, but this is definitely a wear to work outfit. Nothing special about it. It is what it is.

This Shirt is Perfect
I absolutely adore this shirt and would rent it again when it colds next winter. It's a thick material so you can wear it without a jacket if the weather is agreeable enough, but what makes it great is that it's effortless and stylish. I got several compliments on it, including one from a little girl - that was my favorite :).

Too Casual for Formal Affair
This dress is really casual. It could be worn to a casual wedding or other event, not suited for a black tie affair. Also, the dress I received was heavily worn. The inside of the gown is peeling and it was overall not in great shape. Also, the slit is so high that you could literally see my girl parts. I didn't wear this dress.

Lots of Fabric for Petites
This dress looks like it does in photos, but it is a ton of fabric. I'm almost 5'4 and this dress was overwhelming on me. It hit mid-calf and it was so much fabric. I looked like a child :). If you are petite, this may not be the best choice. I tried to tone it down with a leather jacket, but it didn't work.

Great everyday dress.
I love this dress and don't want to return it. It is by far the most complimented dress I've rented from RTR. I wore it with a leather jacket (thanks to another reviewer's tip) and tall suede boots. It looks great and it's very warm. It feels a bit like wearing a not-so-scratchy wool blanket.

I wasn't having great luck with my RTR dresses
I wasn't having great luck with my RTR dresses so I decided to rent a dress that looked pretty to me but that had lower reviews and I'm glad I did. Maybe my taste is different from the average reviewer as I thought this dress was great. I got a 4 without a backup size and needed a 6. Had I got the 6 this probably would have been a 5 star dress. It's short, but so am I. It's hot but the weather is cold. The pattern is lovely and I received two compliments on it which is two more than I've received in any other RTR dress. This dress is unique and looks expensive. Many of the RTR dresses look like something I could pick up at my local department store but not this one, this one is special.

I was about to give up on RTR until I got this dress.
I've rented several dresses from RTR and nothing has made me feel special, nothing has garnered compliments until this dress. I had several people tell me how lovely it was and someone even asked where I got it. It was perfect, lovely. As someone else has stated, you cannot wear a bra with this dress due to the open keyhole back. The good news is that the top is lose so going bra less isn't noticeable. The bad news is that the inside slip cannot be adjusted and it hangs a little low showing way too much side boob. I'd vote for double sided tape with this dress. In regards to length I got the regular. I'm 5'4 and wore 3" heels and thought it was perfect. I wish I could keep this dress though I don't know where I would wear it to as dressy occasions are few and far between for me. This dress is a winner.

I didn't feel special.
I really disliked this dress. I felt like I should be going to a funeral or work and it was majorly unflattering on me. I'm not sure why it was unflattering as it looked great on the other reviewers. I've read the stats on the other reviews to see what makes me different from them and the only thing I can come up with his body type. I'm fairly curvy so the dress bunched instead of laying well. I couldn't wait to get it off.

Not as stylish on me as other reviewers due to my body shape.
I can wear dresses from a size 2 to a 6 depending upon brand. I ended up wearing the 44 as I wanted a more oversized, stylish look for this political event. However, it didn't look as good on me as other reviewers. I'm short and curvy so it made me look larger than I really am. The fabric was very thick and heavy but I wasn't too hot. It would not be a good dress for an outdoor summer event but could probably pull you through an indoor event of even a cooler outdoor event. I wore this with the OSCAR DE LA RENTA Luxembourg Necklace. The necklace pulled off the look. You really need a statement piece with this dress to pull it off otherwise it kind of looks like you are going to work. I wore this with L.A.M.B. heels that wrapped up around my ankle though it would look nice with flats too.

Red lipstick and lace.
I usually wear a size 4 and the size 4 fit best. I ordered my backup size one size up but wish I would have also ordered the 2 just to see how it fit. The only downside is that the pockets make the hips bunchy and appear wider than they really are. I found a way to tuck the pockets to the back which made them unusable but gave me the best possible silhouette. I also had trouble picking the right shoes. It was muddy at the wedding so I went with boots and I think it looked okay but would have liked a second opinion which I did not have at the destination wedding. Other than that, it is really beautiful. It's a deep rich blue and the lace makes it very special. I got several compliments even from strangers at a grocery store where I had to swing in for emergency hairspray. This is a special piece of clothing and perfect for weddings.

Dancing to 90s rap music with my amigas.
My friend had rented a marble floor party bus to chauffeur us around so I rented this dress as A. it was cold and B. it sounded like a formal event. Last minute, they changed plans to a double decker British bus but the dress was already in route. I wore the dress regardless but it wasn't as much fun as I felt overdressed and slightly self-conscious but I tried to enjoy the experience. I didn't feel like the dress was very stylish. I felt like it was more formal, kind of like job interview formal but for some occasions that might work. I think it would make a good dress for a class reunion or maybe an after-hours work event. Cons of the dress. The sleeves were long on me. They hit about half way down my hands. Even though it is a high-neck, I had to wear a strapless bra as straps showed. It is kind of formal and conservative because of the stitching. The black dress is pretty sexy though. Pros of the dress. The fabric is high quality and feels good on. Even though it is thick, it breaths. The dress is flattering. The dress looked good with both booties and heels. I tried both but settled on black booties.
