Good transitional dress
I wore this for an everyday dress with chunky ankle boots on a warmer winter day. Multiple people complimented it AND no shapewear required. It could easily transition to a fairly casual date dress, work, church, etc. The sleeves were a little long but not obtrusively so (I was still able to do my desk job with zero issue).

Not enough shape
I was pleasantly surprised that the collar wasn’t obtrusive despite being high but the sweater as a whole has almost no shape (unless you count square). Despite wearing the suggested medium and having a large bust, my figure was nowhere to be seen. It’s not particularly itchy but it somehow seemed less soft as I wore it longer.

Too baggy
This was a subtle but interesting print but just too big. I get that oversized is in style right now but it was borderline shapeless (despite my having a large bust) and the sleeves were too long. I wore the suggested medium (5’ 5”, 145 at the moment) so size down if you want to see your figure. It IS fairly soft.

Tempting
I would have been tempted to keep this except that it's a smidge short (I'm 5' 5" and don't have a particularly long torso) and it has a little extra fabric right at the front of the armpit. You can see it on the model but it's just a little weird.

Sexy but not too sexy
I didn't love the neckline and the slit is pretty high on this even for me (no one could call my legs long) but the fabric is soft. Wore it out for a fun night out with my husband.

Just ok
This is a standard, every day sweater. The fabric is nice and thick and it feels well made. It’s cut such that I think it hits oddly on the hips in back and pools forward so it looks a little like you have love handles even if you don’t. It probably doesn’t help that it’s just a smidge too short in front (and I’m not tall). It’s also low cut enough that I was cautious about how I leaned on a video call for work but otherwise wouldn’t have concerns with a low cut bra. If you’re petite and straighter up and down, this might work better for you than it did for me.

Good everyday dress
I really liked this dress. It's nice fabric and hugs an hourglass shape without being tight whatsoever. I usually wear a 6 but sized up to an 8 based on reviews. The chest was still too small - I ended up wearing a camisole underneath and it was still pretty. I'm very hourglass and the waist tapered nicely to me. The 6 probably would have been slightly better in the waist but too tight elsewhere.

Good but...
The fabric and color on these is nice but my (remarkably flat) butt looked, well, flat. The frayed hem was a little too frayed at one point with was a 3+" frayed bit hanging down but they generally worked. And for my short to medium height ladies, be prepared to wear your heels. I was wearing 3+" heeled boots and they hit just about perfectly (I'm about 5' 5"). I'd say they fit snug - I wasn't sure I was getting in when I first started putting them on - so if you're borderline size up.

Sexy but not too revealing
I ordered multiple dresses (subscription) and this was definitely the winner. The corset gave enough support that I shockingly didn’t need a bra - which would have been the sticky version because it’s an open corset back - despite being top heavy. I didn’t have to pull it up all night and the zipper in the back allowed me to make the slit as high as I wanted for walking and dancing. It does have stretch, but not a ton in the top. It’s not the easiest to get into and I had to wriggle and still needed a hand lacing it up. There was one time the zipper on the bottom came down about 2 inches and I felt the hem of my underwear (and had a minor internal freak out) but that was probably my fault from a bathroom trip or something. Overall, some hot mama compliments (from people I knew), a few who wanted to touch the velvet, and a couple of people who asked where I got it so they could go looking: so you know they actually liked it! Recommend.

Sleek dress, great color
This dress is a candy apple red as opposed to a more traditional Christmas red. I wore it to my boyfriend's work Christmas party and recieved lots of compliments on it. It's not particularly forgiving to undergarment lines so I'd recommend Spanx. Similarly, if you're busty or have stretch marks, beware the slightly slippy sleeves and cutout at the bust/sleeve line. Generally, recommend for a sleek look that still lets you stand out!

Wanted so badly for this to work!
This is a beautiful dress but I saw the same things others have complained of - I would have needed to be in a bralette (I'm a 32I/J), and it gapped a little at the shoulders. I'm usually a 10 (wore a size 10 Nicholas in the end) but the 8R was a better fit and I'm not certain the 6 wouldn't have been best. I'm also fairly certain it would have dragged a little bit in 4" heels - I'm 5'5". Pockets are amazing and this dress was still a great option, it just wasn't better than the backup I ordered.

Comfortable and elegant
I rented this as a backup to the Alison Parris Marilyn for a black tie optional wedding and it ended up just working better. The fabric is thick enough to hide any lumps and bumps and I probably didn't need Spanx in this but I wore them anyway. I'm 5'5" and wore 4" heels and it was juuuuust long enough. Recommend!
