This dress is great as it is or belted. I had to make a quick change on site for the banquet in the photos and forgot the belt, which would make it slightly more professional. But I just looooove this dress. So extremely comfortable and flattering. Even on windy days, the liner underneath is snug enough that I didn't even worry. It does run very large though. I never wear an XS, but it was perfect on me. It's very flowing and the material is ever so slightly shimmery, and the color is just amazing. I also did a photo shoot in the dress, and the color stands out very nicely against different backgrounds. Also wore it to a wine tasting, dressed down with beaded jewelry and pretty sandals. Very versatile! Love that!

First, I have to make sure to note that the tulle *will* be wrinkled when you receive the dress so make sure you have time to get it steamed. Also, the lace around the neck does not stay standing up, so if that bothers you make sure you have a way to keep it in place. So, I got to do a reading during my friend's wedding, and the idea was for me to complement and not match the wedding party. This dress was perfect for her green and gray theme. I did get a lot of compliments, including that I looked like a perfect fairy pixie - in a nice way. LOL. The fit was wonderful and comfortable. I wore the 4 instead of the 6, as the 6 was just a bit saggy everywhere. The 4 was absolutely perfect - not too tight, not too loose. In fact, I don't really have any points to make about the fit. It was great. Wore a strapless bra and it worked out fine.

I was a little worried when I first put this dress on because I have a bit of a Sir Mix-a-Lot figure, and it was so tight around my butt. However, the fabric tended to stretch a little over time and conform to my curves. It ended up being amazing. I needed some professional photos and I also had a banquet event to attend that evening. Now, this is not a dress that will stun everyone when you walk into a room or get a million compliments. But that's the beauty of it; it's meant to be a super professional dress that will make you look amazing without distracting attention from you. After all, if you're in a working environment, you want people to notice you, not what you're wearing.

I was very disappointed in this dress. I am a pretty curvy person, at least on bottom, and it made me look boxy. There is a seam right around the waist that is very unflattering. Also not sure how the dress is supposed to fit. I prefer a little loose and hanging, how it is pictured, but it seems that it might be intended to be tight? Hard to tell and very frustrating. I am a solid 6 and the 4 was a bit loose on me. The only way this dress could possibly be flattering is if it is worn very tight, I think. It looked bad enough that I didn't even want a photo of me in it. LOL
