This was a lot of fun to wear. The cons... The bustle felt huge on me, and the cut-outs on the arm felt like an unnecessary extra detail given the amount of action on the skirt. It does run a full size large - I usually get a 4, this was a 2 and for one minute I considered swapping it for the size 0. The fabric doesn't have much stretch, and the sleeves are cut fairly generously, so it looked better when I pushed up the sleeves. You're pretty covered so it's a good winter party dress, less so for other times of year. But I rented in December, wore it with black opaque tights, and I felt great in it. Excellent example of why RTR is so wonderful - I would never buy this in a million years, but it was a blast to wear it once!

Wonderful dress - great color, gorgeous frills, very forgiving fabric that doesn't crease. I wore it three times and I will definitely hire again. It's pretty true to size but has a fairly small waist and there's not much give in the fabric, so if you're on the borderline you might size down.

I have loved this dress. Subtle layering of a silkier fabric underneath the top layer, pockets, great color, true to size. I bought it in navy blue three years ago, and have rented the red one from RTR several times. The fabric has held up fairly well but is showing its age after (I guess) hundreds of trips to the dry cleaners. It crumples very easily now, which my blue one doesn't, and I had to iron it pretty comprehensively when it arrived. Still, I was happy to take it out for a last trip to a family holiday dinner. I will miss it!
