I wore this for a dinner and night out in Cartagena for a friend's bachelorette party. It was perfect for the occasion (fun print and silhouette) and I was happy to be wearing a loose fitting dress due to the humidity. The shoulders and waist are elastic so sizing is pretty flexible. I would definitely rent again to wear on another vacation.

Before I get to the dress details, I have to say that I highly encourage visiting a RTR store to try on dresses if possible. The night before my flight to the wedding, I made an appointment at the NYC Flatiron store for 3pm the next day. Around noon, my stylist reached out to gather information on what kind of dresses I was looking for so that she could pull a few together before my appointment. When I arrived at the store, my stylist greeted me and had approximately 8 dresses waiting in a dressing room. She laid out a great variety and welcomed any feedback I had as I tried on dresses. Ultimately, I selected a Solace London dress and can honestly say that I probably would not have picked it had I seen it online. I wore the dress to a mid-day Catholic church ceremony and an evening reception at a country club. With its high neckline and slit up the front, the dress was classy but sexy and struck a balance between these perfectly. It also was quite fitted, but I had no problem walking and dancing the night away! My only minor complaint was that the neck of the dress was a bit tight, but I didn't notice it much once I was used to it. (This may be resolved by sizing up, but not 100% sure.) I loved that I was able to wear a normal bra under the dress and would highly suggest making sure you wear seamless underwear. My stylist picked out a pair of RTR Kennth Jay Lane earrings that added a great pop of color and complimented the gorgeous print and I wore a pair of simple strap nude heels that I had at home (think: Stuart Weitzman (more expensive) or Steve Madden/Aldo (cheaper version)). I received compliments throughout the night and would absolutely love to have this dress in my closet!
