Pretty and flattering
If I were more than a B cup, distress might have been a little too tight in the bust but maybe if you are a smaller band size or a C it would be ok but definitely not made for the busty ladies. There is boning in the top. I could have probably sized up and been comfortable. This fit snugly but well. If you are pregnant or newly postpartum, this would probably be a great choice if you’re not too worried about the bust. Pretty, comfortable, flattering, but wouldn’t call it a showstopper. This would be the type of dress I would buy, and know I could wear again comfortably to several formal events.

Unique and pretty, be cognizant of chest
Embroidery is very pretty. Wouldn’t go as far as saying it looks high end but it is very pretty. I could have probably worn an 8 but this fits pretty well. As with many princess tops, the cups are a bit odd and in this case, a little large for me. Would probably be a littler better on a full C cup. Unique and a good pick for garden party formal and spring weddings generally.

Pretty, comfortable, and flattering
Fits well overall including in bust. Pretty pattern but pattern does make it appear a bit less formal. As you might guess, straps are not adjustable. For me, I would like them slightly tighter but they won’t fall down. Just skims the floor without heels. I probably wouldn’t wear more than 2 inch heels for 5’6”. Out of 5 dresses I rented, will probably wear this one for an upcoming wedding.

Other size 10s in the shipment I got (multiple styles) all fit or were slightly large. Couldn’t zip this in size 10. I’m a wider ribcage etc so consider that in your sizing. Photos represent colors and fit accurately.

Well made, tropical and fun dress
Considering to wear to a garden party formal wedding. Good for small chested ladies. I would guess not comfortable for above a D cup. Surprisingly flattering for those with a bit of a tummy.

Cute dress with stretch that is forgiving if you have a tummy. Definitely brightly colored, but if that works for you would be a good pick for a wedding or other event. Would definitely wanna complement with the fun, accessory or shoes rather than plain Jane.

Probably for the younger and more adventurous set
Top fit snuggly on my B cup. I could definitely have worn the medium, but a perfect fit would’ve probably been slightly larger. Pictures do pretty good justice. This definitely is a mermaid vibe and might not be for everyone, but could be a really fun dress if you lean into it and like this type of design. I don’t really have any complaints beyond I would’ve probably went a size up if they were doing numeric sizes.

Pretty dress, but pattern might not be everyone’s cup of tea
Got this dress in hopes of wearing to a garden party formal wedding in the spring. I’d gain some weight after having a baby and was still figuring out what sizes work for me. This dress is pretty but it’s a lot. There’s a lot of ruffles the patterns loud and might not be for everyone. However, if it looks pretty to you in the pictures. You’ll probably like it. There’s not much give so definitely don’t try to size down. In fact I’d say most people should size up. Dress didn’t come close to zipping. I know now I am typically a 8 or 10 (more a 10) so I would be conservative and size up. Lots of boning so you probably don’t want it to be too tight. Overall, I definitely would’ve considered it if I had gotten a size 10 and it fit well but it’s definitely a loud dress.

Itsy bitsy, but could be sexy
I probably should’ve gotten the large but definitely did not fit in the medium. I am not someone with wide hips AT ALL but these did not go over my hips. It’s a pretty dress and definitely could be sexy but as others have noted, the slit is high so size up and consider if you want a slit that high. Low stars simply due to the poor sizing.

Super flattering and cute for a casual wedding or dressy party.
Great summer dress. So flattering with some stretch. Runs like a smaller to true size 4. Size up for wider hips or larger butts. If you are a full C cup or larger don't get the 4, size up. It was rather tight on me overall but I'm between a 4 and 6. Stretch gives you some wiggle room.

Beautiful dress but only for busty gals
Really adored but I couldn't even wear with a strapless push up, pin and fashion tape. You really need a very full and round c cup or larger breasts to have a chance at the top fitting. Otherwise, fit was excellent for most 4 to 6 size wearers. Could also probably suit size 8. Beautiful pattern and quality material and design for the right shape.

For small to medium chests and small to medium hips, a great size 4 fit that flatters
Nice dress. I'm between a 4 and 6. I have narrower hips and smaller rear end. Felt supported in the chest. Wasn't a show stopper but unique and classy. Would look great with a tan or darker skin tones. I am self conscious about my stomach area and it was fairly forgiving in that department.

Great winter dress
Dress will be appropriate for most offices but is fashionable enough to wear in other settings. Generally, it is surprisingly flattering given the material and pattern. Warm dress. I wish I could buy it! I would say the Medium was slightly larger on me than what is ideal but that is what I would expect based on what sizes I generally wear.

Nice fit. Very classy. Dramatic sleeves differentiate it from other bell-sleeve dresses. Wore to work and received lots of complements. Could have easily worn to work parties, family parties or out on a chilly night.

Love the bottom of this dress. Very flattering on this pale girl with blue eyes! Fit is a little loose but it is short. Would not recommend for the most conservative offices. Was a great dress for a wedding and I have also worn it to work with tights and a blazer. I bought it on clearance and think it is 100% worth it!

I normally wear a 4-8 in blazers. I went on the safe side and got a 42 . I think I could have easily gone a size lower but it didn't look bad. VERY warm blazer. Looks festive. Can look professional or casual headed on what you wear it with.

Pretty dress for the right figure
I love this dress on the hanger. Considering it is casual and mid-length, it is strange how high up the slit is that is formed by the two sides of the wrap. I felt like I looked like the size of a house in this dress in pictures. I think it may have been the plaid. I think if you are very thin, this could be very beautiful. I would recommend sizing up if you are larger than a B cup.

Surpassed my expectations!
I haven't won Halston Heritage before so I was nervous about the sizing. I usually wear a 4 but in high-end brands I might go a size up or even more. The size 4 fit me like a glove. I had a TON of compliments. This is the best dress I have worn in years. Unfortunately, the dress is riding up a little in the middle in the picture so you can't see the cut-outs. I am a little pudgy in the mid-section and this dress was fairly flattering for me (usually I struggle in dresses) although I wish I wore Spanx. I wore an adhesive bra and that was sufficient (I'm a small C-cup). Would totally rent again in a year or so! I will say I would look for other reviews if you are a curvier girl in the butt, hip or chest area. I'm not curvy and I'm not sure if it is curve friendly (It totally could be...I just don't know!)

Having a dress I am actually comfortable in!
Wore for a Bachelorette Party in Atlantic City. The group was fairly conservative and we weren't hitting any clubs so it was the perfect vibe. A little playful (short) without being too revealing. Paired perfectly with nude heels. My problem is my midsection and this was a fairly flattering dress especially with a pair of Spanx. I usually wear a size 4 or 6. This dress was form-fitting but definitely not too tight. None of the pictures had a great shot of the dress.
