Fun but not my favorite
I rented this dress for NYE at the last minute. The style itself felt a little dated — almost like I was dressing up for an 80s themed party. The dress is sparkly which is hard to capture in a photo. There is a hook in the chest area that can close to provide more modest coverage, but I am a D cup and it just created an awkward gap in both my ordered sizes. I just left it unhooked and showed more cleavage since I was wearing it to a NYE party. I do like that you can wear a normal bra with this dress, and the dress itself fits nicely, accentuating an hourglass figure. I ended up wearing this but I probably wouldn’t rent again since I wasn’t a huge fan of the style once I looked at it out of the bag.

Hourglass for days
I am a short, curvy hourglass shape and this dress accentuated my figure in all the right places. The material is thick and sucks you in (I also wore shapewear) and the top was structured enough so that I didn’t have to wear a bra. (And I’m not usually one of those kinda gals that goes braless — like, ever.) This is a classically sexy, well-made gown. If you want to turn heads without being over the top, then she’s the one for you. Wore for a family photo shoot and it photographed beautifully.

Statue of Liberty -- but glam
This was my backup dress for a silver-themed gala, but it ended up being perfect. The material is stretchy, but the waist is well defined and creates a nice hourglass shape. The slit is not too high when standing up, but will show thigh when sitting down. This is crucial to consider if thinking about shapewear underneath. If you have a larger chest, it may be snug up top. Overall, this was a comfortable, glam, flashy dress. I felt like the Statue of Liberty, but in a good way. Highly recommend!

Showstopper
This dress stands out in a sea of black tie. The color is vibrant and the fit is flattering, especially if you want to show off your curves. The material is very forgiving with a lot of stretch. Shapewear was necessary in my case. I ordered a 6 and 8. The 6 was snug on the booty, but the top on the 8 was too large and ended up gapping. So, I embraced the booty and got compliments all night long. This dress is comfortable and quite the showstopper. I’ve rented several from this designer and am never disappointed!

Lady in Red
Rented this top for my 30th birthday dinner. The color is a rich, head turning red. This top does run small. I am usually a 4-6 with Rent the Runway, and I ended up wearing the size 8. Go larger with your backup size! I was able to wear a strapless bra, though the side of the top does come down low, so you may have a smidge of side-boob action going on if you have a larger cup size. The cut is perfect for my hourglass ladies. I felt sexy, classy, and confident in this top. Highly recommend, just make sure you size up!

Bold Elegance
I rented this dress for my engagement photo shoot on top of a mountain. It was a stunner. The movement and flow of the dress was perfect for catching the slight breeze. The silhouette is classic, the print is bold and elegant. I ended up wearing the small regular and am a curvy 5'3" with a 34 D bust and weigh about 145 pounds. That said, this dress even in the regular length was LONG. I wore my tallest tall tall impractical heels and that was the only way it didn't drag the ground. It was also tight in the bust. If I had been dancing at a wedding, I would have worn the medium for greater range of motion. But for photos with not a ton of movement, I liked the way the small accentuated my waist. If you have above a C cup, make sure you go up for your second size. So very happy I rented this dress - it doesn't disappoint! Photo Credit: Emily Chidester Photography

Curves for Days
This dress is bombshell and will show off all of your curves--definitely not for ladies who aren't comfortable with every bump being on display. I'm 5'3" and wore 2.5 inch heels and the length of the regular dress was perfect. The size 4 was damaged, so I wore the six and it was fine. The material is stretchy and you pull it on, so there is plenty of give. I think either size would have fit like a glove. The shade of red really stands out in a sea of black dresses. Be ready for all eyes to be on you!

Floral, Flirty, Fun
Received compliments all night long on this dress. I wore it for a cocktail attire June wedding in South Carolina. The length offsets the sexiness of the bodycon fit and neckline, making it wedding appropriate. I'm 5'3", bust between 34C-D. I am typically between a Size 4 and 6 and didn't even try on the 6 because the 4 fit like a glove. It hugged all the right curves, although was slightly baggy in the waist area (if you're hourglass like me, something to consider.) I wore Spanx underneath for extra smoothness. It's a little difficult to raise your hands above your head for serious dancing, but I managed anyway. This may be my favorite RTR to date...HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Hated to send it back.

I would give this bag a 5 star review but it came to me with a scuff. This is a great mid-size purse. Right now it's holding my wallet, hand lotion, gloves and two books. I carry it everywhere and it classes every outfit up with its simple, chic look.

I felt like Cinderella long after midnight!
This dress is stunning and will make you feel like a glamorous princess. That is, if you can get it to fit. I am a size 4 in typical RTR dresses but was so glad I sized up to the 6. Do not rent this dress if you're not okay with showing cleavage because it is extremely low cut. I had to fashion tape the dress to my bra to make sure it wasn't showing all night. Even then, it did still show sometimes. I have a 34D chest and there was some awkward gapping up top when I sat down. I am 5'3" and wore 5 inch heels and the length was just right. If you're short, plan on wearing tall heels to avoid dragging the floor. It was not the best for dancing because I couldn't lift my arms over my head. All the cons aside, this dress was truly stunning and if you can finagle the chest situation, you will get compliments all night. I felt like this dress gave me the power to talk to woodland creatures. Unfortunately, I was in NYC and no woodland creatures were around for me to test out my princess theory.

Classy Va-Va-Voom!
The neckline, color and peplum make this an unforgettably sexy dress. In a sea of black dresses, I stood out all night long. I usually fall between a 4 and 6 and ended up wearing the 4 in this dress. The smaller size hugged my booty just right. I am 5'3" and the regular length was perfect with 5 inch heels. If you're any shorter or want to wear lower heels, you may want the petite. Wore Spanx to smooth everything out and got compliments all night! Highly recommend!

Perfect LBD for hourglass ladies!
This dress is perfect for the hourglass shaped girl. It accentuated my waist and sucked in all of my problem areas. I did wear Spanx to give an extra layer of smooth. The zipper was a little tricky at the waist, but once I zipped it up it fit like a glove. I am 5"3' and thought the length was very appropriate given the bodycon nature of the dress. I am 138 pounds and decided to go with the Small as the Medium did not hug my curves the way I wanted it to. Wore to my Valentine's Day fine dining date along with the Badgley Mischka Crystal Cluster necklace and my boyfriend couldn't take his eyes off me all night! Highly recommend for petite curvy ladies!
