Way shorter than I usually wear, but it was social not work-related so I went for it. So glad I did. You do not need a bra, it wasn't sheer, plus I usually don't wear a bra in life so that worked well. I can't remember what size I picked, I sized up I believe. Was just a total stunner. My 65 y/o female neighbor said when I greeted her: Holy fu$king sh-t. You look amazing.

I am about 32" at the bust and 39" at the waist, so I often find something that fits up top and is just way too tight across the hips. This was absolutely perfect - I didn't even take the backup size 4 out - it might have worked but I felt great in the 6. The length is great, too, right around the knees. When I attend work events I prefer that it's not too short, especially where I'll be sitting at a dinner for a large portion of the night. Now, when you sit, the buttons on the side slit will separate and your skin will show. And when you're sitting, that's like up over where your underwear is. I think it's discrete enough that the man next to me didn't notice...and frankly I wasn't too worried about it. But just know that happens. Actually like a hidden sexiness feature of the dress.
