This was my backup dress for a family wedding. It was very bridesmaid-sy. It was large in the butt, hips, and bust. It was also about 4 inches too long on me, and I'm 5'4" and tried it on with 4 inch heels. My sister-in-law (height of 5'9"), who is more blessed in the bust and bottom areas, even tried it on. And it was much too large on her. This would be a good choice for taller ladies. But a gorgeous dress! The lace is impeccable!

I wore this to my husband's cousin's wedding at a farm near Nashville. My two children and nephew were in the wedding so I dressed up a little more than one might for a farm wedding and the dress was simply amazing! Compliments all night! Didn't want to return it. I wore a hearty pair of Spanx with a low cut strapless bra. My measurements are roughly 36" (bust), 29" (waist), and 36" (hips/butt). I have a very straight shape with a fuller middle. I'm 5'4" and wore 4 inch wedges so the length of the dress was 100% perfect.

Loved this dress! It fit pretty well considering I wore it 4 1/2 months after my son was born via repeat c-section. And after 2 c-sections, my body (midsection, really) is totally out of whack. As info, my current measurements are: bust - 38 inches; waist - 33 inches; hips - 39 inches; weight - 148 lbs. The waist of the dress was snug but, like I said, my midsection is much thicker than the rest of my body. Spanx helped but aren't a must if your measurements are more proportionate. Definitely long enough to be acceptable for church on my 5'4" frame.

Please note that I was 12 weeks pregnant when I wore this dress so I'm slightly larger up top and in the belly than normal. I ordered a 6 and a 8, and wore the 8 for this reason. The overall fit was great! Arms are a bit snug if you have less than toned arms but not a big issue. You can even zip yourself. My mom and sister-in-law liked it so much they are considering renting for weddings in October. My sister-in-law tried on the size 8 after I wore it and that fit pretty well (she's curvier than me - 34D, hourglass figure, and 5'8"). My mom tried on the 6 and that was a little big on her, but not much (she's 5'1", 105 lbs, 34C, and very petite). A MUST RENT! SO AMAZING!

Pros: Looks very elegant. Cons: It can ride up - I felt like I was pulling it down all night. And it's a bit snug if you have a tummy so Spanx are a MUST. Also, the lace was ripped in a few places, and a few people did notice. So that was very unfortunate, but I guess you have to expect that when a dress has been rented so many times.
