This dress photographs amazing! Can't really raise arms but worth it
Love. So glad I purchased on sale. While the arms are tight and you can't really raise them too high, I danced in it all night and loved it, plus it photographed 100% better than I expected. Love a dress that makes me look good. It does show any lines, etc through the fabric so I recommend a spanx bodysuit. My regular bra would have been ok, but you definitely could have seen each line through the material even though it's thick enough to be completely opaque. Love love love!

Very tight in the hips. Had to size up so much the top didn't stay put...
Would not rent again, I'm a 6/8 and had to wear the large but was swimming in the top of the dress where I'm smaller (4/6).

Really wanted to love it but wasn't as flattering as I would have liked.
Beautifully made, well constructed, nice fabric, but it fell at a length that emphasized my hips/bum in a way I didn't like. The skirt continues to narrow to the knee, so took my hourglass to the pear end. Ladies who have a straighter figure should love this. I'm an 8 in the hips and the 12 was snug but not overly tight to where it looked bad. The 14 was more comfortable, so I probably would have worn that one so I could dance and eat without worrying about my belly poking out. My 4/6 US size up top was perfectly fine in the 12 with room to spare.

Really flattering color and cut, but go a full size up from your hip size to get the right fit.
Loved this rental, just wished I'd gotten the 10R instead of the 8R. I'm usually between a 6/8 (8 for anything that hugs my hips), so I should have listened to other reviewers and sized up knowing it is very fitted. That said, I was able to squeeze into it without it looking too tight in a bad way. Very fitted through the waist and hips. The top is roomier since you can't wear a bra, but if you have a large chest this might not work well. Got lots of compliments and was comfortable at the formal, tented outdoor November wedding we went to on the border of NC/SC. The material is heavier and does have some give, but is not truly stretchy. Definitely take a chance on this one, but be honest with yourself and size up accordingly. You'll be happy you did.

Incredibly flattering and a subtle standout
Fit was fantastic. I rented both uk10/us6 and uk12/us8 and both fit well. The six was tight and true to size. The 8 draped very will since it was a bit larger, but I ended up going with the six because it fit my waist so well. It was tight in the hips but the front slit is well constructed and didn't gap out on me. The neck was quite tight so I left it just an inch unzipped. No one touched. I got tons of compliments all night and loved the dress. I'm larger that my normal size right now but felt amazing in this dress. I went with high spans and no bra. I'm small-avg up top but with the double layered fabric you couldn't tell and it allowed the material to drape even closer to the skin and in my opinion was more flattering. I loved this rental even though I usually rent dresses with low necklines. Definitely go for it with this one, I was happy I went out on a limb!

A stunner - rent if you want to stand out!
Rented this for a black tie wedding in December with a holiday slant. The red is a deep ruby, darker and less pink than the RTR photo. Fit almost perfectly. I am 5'4" and wore 2.75" heels and the length was perfect. If you are taller than me and want to wear taller heels, get the long because the length was spot on for me. The top was a thicker material and was comfortable rather than tightly fitted. The waist and low back was perfect for me and since I have wide hips, the full skirt let me order the right size for my smaller top. In a more fitted dress, I would have had to rent a size 6. Also I'm a 32D and there was room to spare. Got tons of compliments and the dress stood out in a sea of darker and more fitted dresses. Very happy I rented.
