Button up cotton dress with a twist
A cute and versatile thick cotton dress. It is a wrap over the top of a button-up, but you can pull the wrap to nip in your waist a bit. If I had my way, the wrap portion would be a little fuller at the bottom and a little shorter, to show a contrast between the slim cut of the dress underneath. Looks good with wedges or heels, especially if your on the shorter side so the midi length doesn't shrink you. The collar was stiff and thick enough you could wear it up or a little more pronounced (half up I guess?) for a little more neckline drama. The black was slightly faded, not terrible though, and to be expected on a not brand new black cotton lens dress. Definitely conservative enough for work!

Everyday cute
Definitely size up- its most important in the waist and there is zero stretch. It's a cute black polkadot print, pretty standard poly fabric, but really versatile and can be dressed up or down.

Cute but lowcut
Cute little romper! I'd say the shorts were in the moderately short side, but appropriate for a short gal like myself. As others noted, it is lowcut so fashion tape or a little cami/bralette is necessary. Made the rating a little lower because of the neckline (when ya go to the bathroom, you have to reattach fashion tape, but that's part of #romperlife) and also because it didn't feel super fabulous or special in print or fabric- but it was lovely for warm weather and ideal with a big sun hat.

Lovely workmanship and colors
Beautiful workmanship, reads just as coral as it does red. I would size down one size, unless you are really pear shaped, then would size TTS for your hips. The bust and waist seemed a little more generous in my opinion. I sized down one size from my typical 4, and have a bigger ribcage, and I was plenty comfortable. My only complaint on the fit was that it didn't really pull in at the waist- so if I owned the dress I would have had it tailored there to be more flattering. No stretch on this one, but was happy I sized down. Beautiful bold color on fab detail. As one other reviewer noted, I also wish the liner was shorter.

Well made dress
Dress is beautifully constructed! I would say a little large so size down one size. The only part that was slight constricting was the top of "bust line" where it hits at your armpit. I could definitely still wear it and it was by no means uncomfortable, and I sized down from my typical 4. If I rented again I would rent a 2 again though. No stretch in the fabric, the spots in the fabric have several tones, so it makes for a prettier and more interesting fabric (a really nice matte in-textured crepe.)

More fall winter statement top
The fit was true on this, but this is a heavier satin so I think it's better suited for fall or winter (there is a sheen to it too.) the straps are easily adjustable. The sleeves are dramatic and reminded me of the Seinfeld shirt episode a little, but if you're a bold gal you can make it work! Something that isn't a flaw, but may bother some ladies, is the liner at the neckline creates a little "bump" where ta sewn. Not a flaw, but some may not like it.

Sexy and ladylike
So, the fabric is kind of a silky poly with no sheen and no stretch, and fairly lightweight. For some reason, I was expecting heavier. It's a perfect spring or summer dress and the opening on the tummy is still conservative while adding fun interest. The cut out is flattering even if your tummy isn't your favorite asset. It is a more tea length on short gals, but works beautifully with tall wedges or heels. Gorgeous painterly dress- not too tight on lower belly or hips either, so I'd say TTS to slightly generous in fit (AKA if you're a 2 I'd probably go XS. A 6 could probably still do a S.)

Cute fit quality fabric
Fit was true to size and the straps are adjustable. It's almost a seersucker fabric. The fit was TTS, not difficult to get off and on which is a plus in #romperlife. A heavier seersucker so I don't know that I'd wear it on the hottest day. I'm short, so it also seemed a little long on the shorts, then the short portion also had pleating so it felt a little Nurse Pollyanna. But! I wore it and I did like it, just wouldn't buy it. It had pockets too!

Casual but can be business OK too
Fit is pretty TTS, maybe slightly on the small side. Even though it's a peplum, it's not exaggerated at all, so there is nothing theatric about the body. Subtle stripe with a stretch cotton (moderately stretchy.) Cute with skinny cigarette pants for work or shorts/skirt for casual day time. Side "ruffle" makes it playful.

Feminine and comfy
This is a lovely and airy dress. It doesn't do amazing things for your figure, but it doesn't do any disservices either! If you want to be comfortable and not dumpy, it's a great dress. It fits true to size but still has some fit to it, elasticized at the true waist. The silky material also has a really subtle tiny ribbing/striping to it that adds to the overall print. It's not insanely special, but it's still very pretty and nice for warm nights. Strapless bra friendly, too! Not too long for a short girl in heels (5'6 in heels and it wasn't dragging.)

Preppy day dress
The fit on this was pretty true to size, maybe a bit on the small side if you are busty or have a larger ribcage. I thought when I first viewed this dress that it was a printed pique, but it only is printed on top and is a plain cotton material. The waist isn't super visually defined, so a belt does help if you have one that works with it. I think it would be more flattering on a pear shaped/hippier figure with a smaller waist and ribcage. Still wearable and pretty even if that's not you're figure though.

Beautiful sunset sherbet dress
Love the fit on this! An absolute dream and so flattering. It is a bit difficult to adjust the straps due to the thickness of the fabric, so I suggest adjusting when it's off of you. Fabric reminds me of thick satin ribbons- a lot of beautiful detail but could be a little warm on a super sticky day in the south. It's truly a lovely dress and the quality is there!

Beautiful unique top
Great top that wasn't annoying to "keep up." You can definitely move your arms around! Note that the flowers are navy, so it looks great with dark skinny jeans. The fabric is a thick slightly textured satin/poly so its best in the fall or winter or whenever the humidity is down. Would look smashing with a navy pencil skirt for a formal affair to balance out the more blouson top.

Perfect date/ party dress
Fit was true to size- lace and satin were lovely. I wore in April, but it would have been more appropriate for fall or winter. My worry is that it would be tight around my lower belly but it wasn't, so no worry about a food baby filling it out. I do have narrow hips though, so if you're super pear shaped, I would size for your hips so it isn't too clingy. Beautifully made!

Didn't wear this as it was just to tight and short. Sizing up could maybe have worked. It's a thick crepe material with no stretch.

Wedding Guest Perfection
I would say this is fairly true to size. I would tend to size slightly up if you don't want it super form fitting. If this was numeric sizing a 4 would have been perfect- I'm assuming a small is a 2 and a medium a 6 (I wore a medium and it was ever so slightly big.) the lace is super soft, nothing stiff at all, and the black insets are figure flattering. Hair up to show off the neckline!

Perfect for ladies who lunch (and work)
Fits great and true to size. A beautiful twist on a business appropriate dress. I would only caution ladies 5'5 and taller that the under skirt may be too short in a more conservative setting.

Detail and fit were fabulous!
Fit was good- maybe a bit loose in the waist, but hips and bust fit great. Note, there are some shoulder pads to give it structure; but even with broader shoulders I felt it looked great. It would look phenomenal with a skinny gold belt, but if you belted it, the dress would wear shorter and you would need tights. A pop color underneath would look really great with a pair of booties. Can definitely be dressed up or down with accessories. I believe this fits true to size but would consider it a mini-dress.

The dress was beautiful in person- lots of metallic detail throughout the fabrication. The fit is more of a modified shift, and there is no stretch to the fabric, so the size is the size. I would recommend wearing a strapless bra due the the almost off the shoulder sleeve. As you can see, the arm holes are cut generously, so fashion tape helps in keeping your bra hidden. The fit is fairly true to size, but a little large in the waist and bust area. In fact, I found that the bust seemed to be fuller a bit under wear my bra hit. It's fairly straight through the hips. If you are smaller busted (32B or smaller) I would tend to size down. This is not a bodycon dress by any means, but it's classic and well made with wonderful back detail for a graceful exit. The only con I found was a very difficult hidden zipper (even when off the body); but that could've been just the dress I had. There was no damage to the zipper visibly on the teeth- it was just very difficult.
