I wore this dress for a gala for my medical school, and I was worried I wouldn't like it as much as the stunning dress I ordered from RTR the previous year - but thankfully, I was proven wrong! This dress is a gorgeous, deep red color, but I think what really makes this dress stand out is the shape. The bodice is well-fitted, with a waist adjuster inside, and there's a cape/train that isn't clear from the sample picture. Many of my classmates remarked that the dress was stunning, especially when you're moving around/tearing up the dance floor so that you can show off the train! I'm fairly small chested and have a slimmer waist, and I got a size 4 (I'm typically a size 2 or 4, depending on the brand), so if you have a larger chest I would recommend going up a size! The material is fairly thick, but that means there's minimal give. All in all, highly recommend!!

This was my first time renting with Rent the Runway, and when I saw this dress online I knew I had to have it for my medical school winter awards gala. I was a little nervous about fit since I'm typically a size 4 in dresses and had to get a 2 for my backup size due to availability, but the 2R fit like a glove - snug enough that the crossed back didn't gape or dig into my back, but not too tight that I couldn't breathe. For smaller chested women, you definitely don't need to wear a bra, the thick material provides enough cover and you don't have to mess with finding the right bra to go with the cross back. The dress came on time (despite my worst fears) and was in beautiful condition. It was a great night, in no small part because of this dress! I got so many compliments - this dress will make you feel glamorous, and I was overall extremely pleased with my RTR experience!!
