Felt like Michelle Obama
Let's start with cons: you CANNOT sit in this dress. The cape makes the dress look deceptively free-flowing. It is not. The skirt is a column--straight down--with a flowy cape around it. Now pros: This dress is stunning. All cons more than worth it. You will feel like regal, stately, dramatic...basically like Michelle Obama at a state function. The boning is flattering, meaning you can eat food and still look good. The material is thick and rich. Would definitely rent again.

My biggest complaint is that the dress runs large in the waist, and the way it hangs makes my stomach look much larger than it is. The material is very pretty, and the skirt is fun to twirl in. Would probably be a great dress to wear if you don't have to be photographed.

Buttery mustard yellow, spins well
This dress fits perfectly--no need for a bra, true size zero. The skirt floats prettily when you spin--very fun to dance in! I've worn it at two weddings now and have no regrets (purchased during clearance sale 2015)

I bought this during the clearance sale, and I couldn't be happier!
So far, I've worn this on a business trip in Tucson, and I got so many compliments. I can't wait to wear this again and again during wedding season! The fit was absolutely perfect, and the tulle underneath gave it a playful fullness. The thick material and high neck cut ensure that this dress fits suits a variety of settings; it works as a business-casual sundress, or a summer wedding cocktail dress.

Eye-catching dress, striking enough to dress up or down with different shoes.
I actually bought this dress during the RTR clearance sale, and I'm excited to be able to keep wearing it (especially during wedding season). It was just a tad large (I'm usually a zero, and I bought the extra small), so I had to take it in a teeny bit, but because of the ruching, you can't tell at all. It's a beautiful dress. Very shiny, but not aggressively so.
