I almost passed right over this dress but really glad I ended up renting it, it's much more flattering in real life than the photos. Like the navy color and the button/snap details and the flare at the hem, it's a little something different without being flashy. I'm normally a size S and was gonna get that until I read reviews and saw that other women my size were wearing the XS so I got that instead. The XS was tight but very comfortable bc the fabric has a lot of stretch. I think the S might have been a little bit roomy on me. Normally I wouldn't wear a super form-fitting dress but the dark color and quilted texture of the fabric made me feel less exposed. The fabric is medium weight, too heavy for summer but perfect for a fall night. I paired the dress with red heels, felt very pretty and got several compliments at the wedding we attended.

This dress is awesome. Needed a gown for a formal summer wedding and I was nervous bc I'm a jeans and t-shirt girl. This dress worked perfectly - the fabric is comfortable, it fit really well, and it hugs your body in all the right places. I'm a modest dresser with a long and lean shape so I loved that this dress accentuates your curves while keeping you covered. It's eye-catching in a classy way, people will compliment you all night in this dress. The fabric is a medium weight so it's not too constricting, easy to move around and dance in. The zipper was a little bit of a pain like others have mentioned but not too bad. Other than that I can't think of any cons to this dress, it was a great rental for a special night. *I'm 5'8" and got the regular length, I knew it would bug me if it was dragging the floor. Love the color and pattern of this dress! Really brightens up a room. Wore to a rehearsal dinner, was great for a "casual cocktail" vibe. It fit a little looser than I expected, at first thought I ordered the wrong size even though I normally run a 4 and sometimes even a 6. I ended up liking the fit and the "shift" silhouette. I'm more on the modest side so with all the skin showing up top it was nice that it wasn't form fitting, and it still felt flattering. No worries dancing, bending over, etc. this dress knows how to stay in place. Soft fabric, very comfortable. Couldn't do a normal strapless bra with it so I wore a NuBra, which worked really well. I would recommend this dress.
