Wore this to a garden wedding, very 1930s Old Hollywood vibe! Wore a low chignon with silk floral rose, wedge sandals in pearl. Loved the fit, though the fabric had zero stretch so it was hard to walk up stairs, climb steep hills, get into a car. Also, I thought the dress would be pink and green, but the pink was actually a lilac/light purple color. Good to know when you're doing your nails! I ended up doing dark green instead.

Perhaps a smaller bust wouldn't have this issue, but the side cutouts revealed a lot of bra! No picture. The colors and fabric were nice, and the overall fit was fine, just not for a full bust.

Wore this to a rehearsal dinner at a trendy restaurant, received many compliments! The back of this is elastic, so it gives a snug fit around the bodice while still allowing me to breathe and move around. I wore it with flat black sandals. I loved the pattern on the fabric, but I did not realize it was not embroidered like a folk dress, but just a print on cotton. I still loved it, and would rent again, but not for a formal event. The pattern and colors scream party but the fabric and tailoring say beach/pool. The neckline is very open and squared off, and the sleeves sometimes inch off your shoulders. I wore a black bra, but the straps were always peeking out in the back, so I wore my hair down. I'd recommend strapless, though I'm sure a smaller bust could go without a bra due to the snug elastic fit of the bodice.

This dress was so fabulous, and I received so many compliments on it. The green is a gorgeous lush emerald -- a little hard to capture in photos! I actually ended up wearing the smaller size in this, so that it would have that snug, fits-like-a-glove fit. It is cut close to the body, flaring out at the knees like a "mermaid" style gown, so to sit I had to hitch the skirt up a little! I'm 5'8" and the Long version ended up perfect with my moderate 2.5"ish heels. I think if I had 3" heels it would've been the perfect length. Down-sides? The dress is nice and thick, which you want in such a slim fitting dress, but it was heavy and got pretty stuffy as the venue heated up. I was glad the event was indoors -- I would have died if I'd had to be in the hot sun wearing this!! It did arrive with a small flaw -- a part of the seam near the bottom was missing a section of thread. I pinned it, no problems! I did have to adjust my bra straps to accommodate the cut-away arms, but no big problem there. Overall, I was very happy with this rental and was sad to send it back!

I did not end up wearing this dress, because it felt a little too frothy, like a cupcake, with three built-in petticoats. Might look better on a different body type? Just made me feel wide. A few things you might not realize from the description: 1) the straps are really wide set, almost off the shoulder, and 2) the entire lace panel around the waist/underarms is sheer beneath the lace. So, good luck wearing a "regular" bra with this one! Also, since the sheer mesh is light beige ("flesh tone"), ladies of color may not like how it doesn't match their skin tone.
