the dress was beautiful, but i couldn't tell from the photos that the fabric was quite heavy - way too heavy for the outdoor summer event i rented it for - so i didn't even get a chance to wear it. : (

These earrings weren't as heavy as I had anticipated given their size. The earrings are definitely a statement piece, but certainly not overwhelming. The stones are a very deep, dark shade of blue that looked almost black when I was indoors but the blue shade came out in the natural light. Lovely earrings, definitely recommended.

This dress is an absolute stunner - the dramatic print is incredibly eye-catching, the silhouette totally flattering. However, please note that this dress fits extremely tightly in the rib cage area. There's boning in the top part of the dress and when the dress is fully zipped up, everything will get sucked in tightly. I have a small bust and squeezed into the small size with mild discomfort (wishes I would have at least tried the medium) - if you have a larger chest, I would proceed with caution. That being said, the dress is beyond gorgeous and I'm glad I splurged on it.

i simply adore these earrings! my hair is a little shorter than shoulder length and i feel like the oversized look of these earrings looked great, particularly with medium/shorter hair. the black color of the earrings is very vivid, which adds a nice splash of bling. the earrings were a little on the heavy side, but definitely not noticeably heavy once i put them in and got used to the weight. i would definitely recommend these earrings to anyone - the add a little bit of glitz and could go with so many different looks.

the clutch i originally ordered for my event was returned in bad shape by the prior renter. rtr staff were amazing and immediately contacted me and let me know about the situation and, most importantly, offered to replace the clutch with any other clutch that would suit my needs (with a couple of small caveats). they then shipped me not one but two replacement clutches the same day, in time for my event. i ADORE this clutch. it is sturdy and sleek - the black jewel detail at the clasp is stunning - provides a nice contrast to the metal look of the rest of the clutch. the bag isn't that big - i fit a chapstick, lipstick, compact, small packet of kleenex, and small wallet and the fit was a little snug. i wish i owned this piece, i love it that much!

i rented this necklace to go with the proenza schouler laced whispers dress and it was a great match - the slightly deeper purple in the necklace accentuated the grey-purple of the dress perfectly. the necklace is made to wear at a shorter length, which i think goes well with a top/dress that has an open chest area. highly recommend this rental!

i normally wear a 4 and decided to size up to a 6 since the dress was quite fitted in the rib cage. of note: the size 6 no longer has the underwire at the bust, but the size 4 does. there are great details on the dress - the very pale grey-ish purple, the delicate lace and light green detailing. i would not recommend this dress for anyone with a larger chest - there just isn't much room up top and no give to the fabric.

i found that the dress fit was true-to-size. i hate wearing strapless bras so i liked that given all of the ruffles i was able to bypass wearing a strapless bra while still managing not to expose too much of myself! : ) i added a belt to add definition to my waist, which i think helped the look come together better. the dress was very comfy, even after all of the food and viennese hour at the wedding!

The fit of the dress is a bit looser in the waist, yet still managed to accentuate my bum which was nice. I usually wear a size 4 and I found that the size 2 worked best to avoid an overly boxy fit. I wore the dress to a friend's bridal shower and it was perfect for the occasion. You can really change the look of the dress with accessories - since it was very cold on the day I wore the dress out, I paired the dress with thick black tights, a more substantial heeled dress shoe, a black fitted blazer and a chunky black necklace and it ended up looking like a great winter outfit.
