Stunning perfect event dress
This dress was so comfortable (you could wear flat shoes and a real bra!), yet still so chic and gorgeous. It's modest, but also sexy and eye-catching; I lost track of how many compliments I got during the course of the evening. The dress had a few pulled threads, but with the pattern, you'd never notice. Hands down one of the best dresses I've ever rented. Can't wait to have an excuse to rent it again!

Kept this all summer!!
Tanya Taylor is truly the greatest. This dress was SO pretty and SO comfy, with thoughtful details like smocked backing, adjustable straps, and sewn-down buttons (no gapping!). I thought the dress was cute in photos, but the fabric irl is just gorgeous; I wore this one again and again, and got heaps of compliments every time. One of the easiest, most flattering and comfortable dresses I've rented. An absolute winner!! Do not hesitate!

Super easy and flattering
This dress was a delight! After a bad experience with another Ulla dress, I was so pleased that this one fit properly (the elastic waistline is a dream for plus girls). The cotton was crisp and lovely, and this was just so easy to wear to a nice dinner, a day of wine tasting, an outdoor party, etc.

Fabric too thin/unflattering
I was so excited for this dress (LOVE an off-shoulder smocked bodice situation), but the fabric was just way too thin. The fit wasn't flattering, it didn't give any shape at all, and it was borderline see-through (couldn't wear black underwear with it). Disappointing. Sent it back!

A little costume-y but so much fun
Wearing this dress with a bright red lip, you can't help but have a fun night! It runs a bit large, but the XL still fit my chest well, so the rest worked fine. I found it much more flattering off the shoulder than with the puffy sleeves (and I love a puffy sleeve).

Not made for curvy girls
Some designers make beautiful clothes with the specific needs of mid- to plus-size women in mind; it was clear from wearing this dress that Ulla Johnson doesn't. I was *so* disappointed because the dress was gorgeous, but even after I sized up, all the tiny buttons were a huge pain, the garment gapped at the chest, the straps were too long, and the waist dug into my ribs (would it have killed her to add a little stretch?). This was not an inclusive dress. Will hope for better from this line in the future.

Easy and sexy
I loved wearing this to a friend's birthday at a dive bar. It was easy and sexy, and the material was really great. It wasn't the most flattering garment in the world (it just kinda hangs there), but for what it is, I recommend it.

Colors are great, small in bust
It's beyond me why this dress retails for $700, it seemed like a $100 dress you'd pick up at Macy's to me. Too small in the bust, I had to wear a cami underneath to keep from showing my whole chest. I did really love the print, so I wore it for zoom and running errands, not terrible, but nothing I'd rent again.

Bathrobe
I thought this dress looked gorgeous on other women, but on me it just unmistakably looked like a bathrobe. Maybe I got a size too big? (I typically wear a 14, and I ordered a 1X.) There was no way I could wear it to a wedding. It was a really PRETTY robe, but a robe nonetheless.

Absolutely stunning
This is one of the prettiest dresses I've ever worn. The quality of the fabric is amazing, and the print is next-level. I was worried based on other reviews that it'd be too tight in the chest, but if anything I had a little extra room! The straps were a hair long on me, but who cares when the dress is this great. It was compliments all night long, absolutely perfect for a family wedding where I wanted to be modest but still stand out.

Tight in hips, giant in bust
This was one of the most confusing garments I've ever tried on. I sized up based on other reviews, and was absolutely swimming in the bust (which is weird bc usually that's the area I can't zip over) yet the fabric was super tight/unflattering over my waist and hips. The fabric had no stretch, which made this even worse. Didn't wear, such a disappointment.

Perfect easy party dress
I *loved* this dress. The fabric is gorgeous, the fit is swing-y and easy, and I especially loved it with a bright pink lip and big gold accessories. Just a fun, happy dress that would work for so many occasions. An absolute winner for me.

Pretty and flattering
Thought the fabric would be embroidered, but it was just a printed pattern. Still a gorgeous dress though, and fit was super flattering. Went up a size for bust and glad I did, I barely got it zipped as it was! Perfect for an afternoon party, would definitely rent again.

Super flattering goth fairy dream come true!
I wore this to be a bridesmaid, and I absolutely loved it. It was chic and feminine but still had that little edge that made me feel like I wasn't a pod person. Was told by many wedding guests that when the light hit the dress as I walked down the aisle, it looked amazing. I have a full bust and the dress was too tight to wear a strapless bra underneath, but it worked totally fine going braless; if you have a smaller chest, you should have plenty of room for a bra. To my eye the sparkle was more champagne/pale gold than silver, which I preferred anyway. Only complaint was the straps didn't stay up, especially while dancing, but otherwise absolutely loved this dress!

Gorgeous fabric, so many compliments!
I'm a 12-14, and the 12 was tight through the bust/waist but still comfortable and flattering. I thought I looked nice in the dress, but I honestly couldn't believe how many compliments I got on the color/fabric and my overall look. And this from a group of relatives who normally never notice what I wear! I was nervous about this dress, so glad I took a chance on it. Was perfect with black tights and ankle boots.

Felt like a chic princess for my 30th birthday soirée.
This dress is so flouncy and fun, definitely the most unique LBD I've ever worn and I got a ton of compliments all evening. The tulle is really flattering -- shows off legs and hides tummy and hips. Note that if you have a fuller chest, it makes the waist shorter than what you see on the model. The fabric has no stretch at all, so definitely order a size up if you're at all concerned about fit. This dress is also a little shorter than you think it's going to be, which is super fun but something to keep in mind. The main problem with this dress is it's so full I kept hitting people's heads as I walked through the restaurant! But definitely a great dress, so glad I rented and would absolutely rent again.
