Made a stranger smile!
While vacationing in NYC, someone hanging out in Bryant Square called out to me that this skirt made them happy and brought a smile to their face. Yep, I guess a skirt can do that! It was super fun to wear and easy to style~I wore it on a warm day and on a really cold one. Kept it for two rental periods, which is not something I typically do.

The jeans themselves are cute and flattering--lots of heavy fabric with the pleats and full (long) legs. Unfortunately, we had an unusual hot spell and theses were just too much for the warm weather. They would be great for fall, winter and if my legs were longer:-)

Classic with a twist
Denim seems to be making a comeback in a big way. This little jacket/shirt is a big win. I wore it when it was hot-on it's own and when we had a cool spell, with sleeves underneath. It's very flattering and easy to wear. Loved it!

This versatile blazer went with me to a conference in LA and on a hiking trip to Arizona. I didn't wear it hiking, but it was nice to throw on for chilly desert evenings when we grabbed a bite. You can dress it up or down. Fantastic for flights, too-roomy pockets. Love it! Rented it twice, in fact.

Gorgeous fabric, strange fit
Unfortunately, I did not wear this dress. The colors are luxurious, however the fit is very strange. The sleeves were a tad tight but my main issue was the pleating at the bottom of the smocking--made my hips look huge! I tried rearranging the pleats (elastic) but couldn't get it to hang right. It would probably work on someone taller.
