I rented this for my birthday and it was soooo cute!! I got lots of compliments! I ordered the medium and got the small as a backup. I wore the small! The medium was too big. I will say I have an athletic build and a larger back and shoulders. The small fit me like a glove. This top isn't stretchy and doesn't have a lot of give. I did love wearing this top though!

This dress is very unique, form fitting, and actually very complimentary!! It does run small. I am 5'6'' 145lbs with an athletic frame. I normally wear a size 4 and I needed the size Medium in this particular dress. I received a lot of compliments and it was perfect for walking, standing, and sitting. However I wore this dress to a wedding and I love to dance. It was not good for that at all, I had to hold up the top the entire time. Great for standing not for dancing! Hope this helps!

I cannot express how much I loved this dress. I received so many compliments! It was very comfortable. I wore it to a banquet so I wasn't moving around (dancing) too much so can't how'd it be for that but I imagine it would've a good dress to dance in as well. I didn't really have to pull up or adjust the top at all. I'm normally a size 4 but wore the 2. The dress is very stretchy so you'll probably need to size down. The 4 just had way too much extra fabric in the waist area. I'm 5'6'' 146lbs, athletic build.
