Cute but slightly awkward fit
Too big in the waist and several inches too short on me, but I made it work tucked into tall boots and with a belt. On someone under 5'6" with wider hips, these would be great.

Long but beautiful
Got compliments from strangers! Thick, good quality fabric that hugs your body but hides any belly fat. The size small fit me perfectly because I'm busty, but I would recommend sizing down as a backup size

Fun and unique look!
I was worried this dress would be too casual for a black tie fundraiser, but I loved the unique, vintage look so much that I went for it and made it more formal with crystal dangle earrings and sparkly heels. I enjoyed standing out in a sea of black and red mermaid gowns! The fit was pretty good, but if you're busty, be prepared to show some cleavage.

Mesh insert is not very classy
Only a size 6 was available in this dress, and I really needed a size 4 for it to hug my hips and waist properly. However, even with the proper size, the mesh inserts on the side of this dress render it un-wearable for a formal affair other than a prom. In the pictures on the website, these inserts looked more opaque and smaller, but in person they extend from my bra to my hips and are super-sheer. Even as a confident 20-year-old who has no problem showing skin, the mesh just looked trashy.

Very pretty, but I was swimming in fabric!
The fabric and silhouette of this dress are beautiful, but as a 20-year-old with a nice body, I felt frumpy and did not end up wearing it. I also have a large bust, and the excess fabric on the top of this dress somehow made them look even bigger. However, this dress was a size too big on me -- I needed a 2 but only a 4 was available. So, if you order a size down you might avoid my issue of swimming in fabric.
