I did end up wearing this dress, got tons of compliments & felt beautiful once we got to the wedding's reception, but I have to say that I struggled initially with the decision to wear it because of how short it was! Usually a short dress wouldn't scare me away (I actually prefer to wear form-fitting minis because I am tall and curvy and feel like that style dress usually accents my curves and longer legs where a looser/longer fit dress can sometimes make me look larger than I am) but I've gained a little weight recently and was really hoping the flare of the dress would be kinder to me. However, this dress just barely covered my larger booty and hit my upper thigh in the front. Had it been a church or family wedding, I wouldn't have worn it. But my fiancé liked it (of course) and I was in the mood to look sexy so I decided to rock it the best I could. By the time I got to the reception, I received so many initial compliments that I finally found my confidence and really started to love the dress. The color is beautiful, the lace is intricate, and the form fitting bodice paired with the slight flair at the end made it perfect for dancing the night away. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who is under 5'7 - OR to anyone over 5'7 who feels confident rocking a mini and isn't attending a more formal event. Definitely felt this dress warranted a warning for us taller ladies - but I wouldn't count it out!

Definitely a tight fit but will mold to your curves perfectly as the material is stretchy but not the "over-stretch-and-get-baggy" kind of stretch. If you don't do tight or are worried about longer length this dress isn't for you - you must be prepared to show some leg and a figure! I have fallen in love with RVN ever since I rented the white dress almost just like this one - even though the length freaked me out at first - it forced me to find a confidence I didn't know I had! And the designs are incredibly detailed and gorgeous that they take it from being a hoochie-mama mini to a designer dream-boat! I plan on renting every other dress by RVN on RTR and will be re-renting this and the white one for sure!

This dress really surprised me!! At first I was really nervous about how short the dress seemed to be - I'm almost 5'10 and the dress hit me about mid-thigh. I hadn't worn a dress this short in a while and felt a little self-conscious at first. But then I realized I had no reason to be. The compliments started pouring in - my boyfriend thought I looked hot - and after looking in the mirror I realized my time with the personal trainer was really paying off! If you have a body you'd like to show off - this is the dress! It hugged my curves in all the right places while managing to be super comfortable - this dress is made of a stretchy material that doesn't get bulky or stretched out throughout the night - it's just perfect! The subtle pattern on the dress is what really made it stand out as a designer piece. I got compliments from all age groups that night as it is simply a beautiful white dress that is also incredibly sexy. That's a hard combo to find sometimes - but this dress perfected it! I'll definitely be renting this dress again soon & am so glad I did this time - it really helped me gain back my confidence!
