Loved this dress. It is very form fitted. Size up if you like things loose at all. I'm a curvy size 4/6 and the six was perfect. The fabric stretches just enough to be able to wear it tight and still be able to sit comfortably. The embroidery is gorgeous. The slit comes to mid thigh. I was surprised that the dress is more navy than black, but loved it. Would definitely rent again

I'm 5'6 and a size 4/6. The large zipped and fit everywhere except the sleeves were extremely short. They are very fitted so they couldn't come up the forearm at all. I am not sure if it was just the dress I got or if this is an issue with all of them but it was uncommon enough that I ended up wearing something else. Otherwise it's a cute dress for a shorter girl

It's a beautiful dress but as a paler skinned person it was basically flesh colored on me. It's a very muted light pink. It fit true to size, just wasn't the look I was going for so I ended up wearing my backup dress instead.

If you're between sizes I recommend sizing up. I like my dresses really fitted but as a curvy size 4/6 the recommended size medium looked painted on. The dress pattern makes anyone look curvier but if you're already curvy it risks looking cartoonish.
